Hi can i change province during citizenship application processing time? Ontario to Alberta? Is it gonna affect my application time-line? Thanks
You can compare the processing times between offices in the spreadsheets.
Speaking generally, Ontario - especially GTA, Windsor - are among the fastest offices in all of Canada. Obviously every office has at least some applicants with long waits, this is just a general observation. I believe Edmonton and Calgary are much slower compared to GTA.
You can see from the tracker Ontario offices have started calling some 2022 applicants for tests whereas no one from Alberta/2022 has taken a test.
iirc application transfer itself is relatively quick like a month to month and a half but the processing times after that may be the problem.
Since most communications are online, shouldn't be a problem. It seems citizenship certificate mailing might be a problem if you update the address too late, you can check other posts on that, searching for address change around oath.
If I were you I'd keep the Ontario address for a while at least until DM but you can decide that for yourselves.
