I got sent a link and followed through the steps to pay the extra $100, so I now have the receipt but I cannot upload it online to mycic!

Hey hegarty147, sorry to hear you are still waiting! I understand your unease and frustration, I know it well. At this point though I don't think there is anything you can do but to wait. You've called so many times and they keep telling you the same thing so maybe just give it another week. If nothing happens by then, then you work on your plan b.

Thanks Man. I think my plan B is to apply for a second BOWP online as i dont know whats going on with the first. I am hoping that even if the first application ends up getting rejected for no apparent reason after my work permit ends on May 13th then at least I have a second application in progress so i can continue on implied status.

I am not sure if this is possible bt other than ganges no one can give me an answer so its my only hope.

as of yesterday i was not in the timelines as yesterday the timeline was 62 days ...then yesterday evening they upped it to 68 days.

Chill down man. If you got your AOR the they have to give they is not other option. so relax do you have spouse in your application or it is only one application?

Hi can you let me know when did they ask for proof of payment of the $100 fee on spouse application. Was it recently or way long back?

Anyone applying for BOWP for you and your spouse? I got an initial fee of $410 2x $155 for the bridging visas and 1x $100 "privilege fee".

I sent in my application on the 24th and they requested proof of payment of the $100 fee on my spouses application (I wasn't asked for it)

I uploaded a word document to mycic online and explained what I payed and asked if this was ok and if I needed to pay an extra $100 how to do so, then I called the office and was told I needed to pay the $100 fee so I did, but now I can't upload the receipt because of the word document I already uploaded...... (stupid I know) so.... I called back and an agent said I should start the process again as he didn't know if it would be rejected? Surely they will just open my online file again and request the receipt after telling me how to pay it??

I applied for a bowp on Feb. 28. Earlier today my application hadn't been touched (according to mycic). Now I just got an update saying it's been approved! Better late than never. Good luck everyone!

One wonders how CIC manages their info on the processing times, perhaps some CIC Offices get too many files to work on whilst others get few, perhaps some applications are more complex than others, I really cannot understand!

Applied on Feb 20 with my spouse, still waiting. The only thing CIC did was to ask for open work permit holder fees on Apr 23, paid and uploaded receipt on 24 immediately. Then no response and no reply for their official enquiry form.

What they did in the past one week was to update processing time from Feb 13 to 14, from 62 days to 68 days. How efficient they were working ... They never know how worried we are and how their decision may affect the whole life of a person or even a family.
