On 24 April they were processing 14 February applications. It is likely that they have done all the February ones in the past week and are now with March applications. Let us know what the update email was about

My application got approved. I had no update in my Email. But just opened up my CIC account and it said that the application is approved. Thanks guys for all your support.

Rang again today she was extremely rude I was trying my best to be nice explaining I was waiting 68 days today. She looking up my application said they have not processed it yet. I then tried to get her to submit a reminder as I my visa expires next week and she cut me off before I could even tell her.

So frustrating when i see lost of people on February 28th who have been approved

I have no issue waiting. My problem is that I am seeing lots of people past February 24th getting approved and only one or two before February 24th who havent been approved. This is making think that there is something wrong with my application and whether I should submit a second application while my first one is in progress. I am thinking about contacting my MP but i think that may be a waste as they will give her the same answer as me" We are working on February 14th applicants" which they obviously are not.

Hello,
Anybody who applied online must have seen and option to upload itineary (flight tickets) .. I am not quite sure what do i attach there as I am working and have no travel plans whatsoever.

Also i am on an open work permit and need a bridging open work permit so do i need to send any kind of reference letter from my job ?

And do i put any information in the intended job section or leave it blank ?

Hey all logged on this morning to my cic and in the status it says updated then i went into messages and the BOWP is still open. I then went back to the original page and the status had gone back to submitted .....god why are they teasing me like this.

I believe they are from the time the application reaches the visa office till a decision is made on your application. Add few more days to it for the work permit to reach your residence.

Unfortunately, there is no way of checking your status. The only thing you can do is check the CIC processing times and if the processing date exceeds your date of submission, you can call CIC agents.

That's cutting it fine, however, you will be on implied status.
