RECENT BOWP APPROVALS - Timeline

Applied online for BOWP on Feb01, 2015. Application was approved on April 01, 2015.

It is my Second BOWP.

Applied for BOWP for me and my husband Jan 31. Approved April 1.

I just wanted to know for those who were approved. Did you get an email notification with instructions on how to get the work permit? I didn't get any email update or notification. I only logged in to MYCIC and it says there application has been approved.

CIC usualy sends notification email, something like "your application has been updated". But it may arive later. No specific instruction on how to get wp, it will arrive by mail to the address you mentioned in the application.

1. Unless your work permit has less than 4 months to run, you are not eligible for a BOWP

Woop! Finally, February. Looks like it's taking exactly 2 months for everyone. I suppose I could expect to hear by April 19th then!

Actual email with all instructions comes after one day, You would be getting tomorrow.

Just choose work temporary more then 6 months..Do not choose permanent.

Hi Guys,

I submitted BOWP and OWP for my spouse application yesterday. In terms of spouse's application, in the explanation letter, should I attach my AOR and WP as well? I didn't because I thought they will be processed together. My explanation letter included AOR and WP. For my wife's explanation letter, I only attached a cover letter, bank statements from both of us, letter of employment and photos proving our relationship.

Are these sufficient and will it be a problem since I didnt include my AOR and WP in my wife's letter of explanation?

Now i got a list of supporting documents along with IMM5710.

But these supporting documents appears irrelevant to me . As it asks me to deposit Itinerary, EMPLOYER PAYMENT RECEIPT, OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT TO A FOREIGN NATIONAL LMIA AND A PROOF THAT I MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB BEING OFFERED .

DO I REALLY NEED TO PROVIDE THESE DOCS ?

THEY DIDNT ASK ME TO DEPOSIT PNP SUPPORTING LETTER .
AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK ?

PLEASE REPLY ASAP . I WOULD BE GRATEFUL TO YOU.

I applied for BOWP+SOWP online on 4th March. I got an email notification yesterday but the status online still says open, not started.

i need your help. I am applying online BOWP application. in Additional Documents Section, i am trying to upload Schedule A Background form. but it is giving me some sort of error and taking to Visitor visa application. then, what is solution ? should i go without it or must upload it ?

I have a question: When I finished the questionnaire online, the system indicated that I need t provide the following documents:

1) IMM5710E
2) Digital Photo
3) itinerary Letter
4) Explanation Letter

My question is what should I write for itinerary Letter? It is required when I need to apply BOWP
