Is there in letter(letter that you receive from CIC) anything printed that we gave you another chance to submit application again within 30 days ?
if yes ...do two things
1- make a explaining letter or clarification request covering letter
2- fill a fresh correct IMM-5257E form with amendments

and submit both along with letter that you receive to VFS...
No. Nothing like submit new application. It only asks reason for misrepresentation

or if you receive refusal letter ..
fill new form . covering letter(highlight the mistake and clarify, along with refusal letter) , and supporting documents again..

hope you understand...

No. Not a refusal either. Asked for reasoning only for misrepresentation and attached the clause where it states misrepresentation can have 2-5 years ban now have to explain the reason for misrepresentation

@Bryanna @Candy @Jalex23-

just came to my mind and need expert opinion
- when applying for TRV (super visa) as we missed to answer correctly so we didn't include any demonstrations about changes after refusal this time.

1. should my parents also explain in their reply about changes/documents submitted with current TRV(super visa) for previous refuse?

2. I don't know if this should be covered in procedural fairness letter or not so please guide?

Thanks for helping us out in this
Regards

@Kazmemon

The Procedural Fairness Letter gives an opportunity only to explain about the *misrepresentation*. Please do not explain about any changes/documents submitted/ explanations vis-a-vis the previous TRV application.

Your reply MUST prove (with evidence) that you had informed CIC - on your own before CIC sent you the letter - about the genuine mistake concerning the previous visa refusal question

Cheers

Dear Sir

Submitted online thru MYCIC Form IMM5257, received letter dated 08/03/2016 from CIC to respond to misrepresentation, stating that Specifically, I have concerns that you have misrepresented your response to question 2b on form IMM 5257. “Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?.” I am not satisfied that you answered truthfully to that question and that you have never been refused a visa by the US or any other country.

I have wrongly selected option No instead of Yes,,it has been overlooked the question 2b on Form IMM 5257.

However mailed to CIC about mistaken happened.

My query, how to submit rectified / revised Form IMM 5257, thru mail or thru post. Otherwise any procedure to upload online the same thru MYCIC. Kindly help.

Hello!!

To best of my knowledge and experience the only way to communicate with CIC is through Case Specific Inquiry. and i will force to please mention UCI and Application number clearly while stating your explanation. and provide them evidence that you already had informed CIC about your oversight on 2b.

*And its clearly mention in letter any other form of communication may delay the processing.

but another input from seniors like Bryanna Or Jalex23 could add to it if any!!

All the best.

Has CIC asked to submitt updated IMM 5257, when you updated CIC about the oversight did you submit it then?
Need to be very careful with misrepresntation. thats what got from point mentioned by Brayanna and Jalex23.

I would suggest only submit what is asked for

Hope that helps

HI Kazememon and Jalex

If I go to MYCIC to view submitted application there only Application Form IMM5257 and in supporting documents Family Information IMM5645, both are blue highligted get open in new window blank forms. What does it mean?

Further in nexus to earlier correspondence, would like your take on procedural fairness letter for misrepresentation which states as follows:

" I would like to give you an opportunity to respond to this information. I will afford you 30 days from the receipt of this letter to make any representations in this regard. Please use the address noted at the top of the letter for all correspondence and clearly indicate your file number. If you do not respond to this request within the time outlined above, your application will be refused."

Hello,
I had received a refusal letter twice for my mother stating that she do not have travel history and no sufficient funds, I was going to fill up a new application for super visa this time, But I came to know that in their previous applications they have done misrepresentation...They have answered "no" for the question "have you used any other name".....my mom had used a different surname before marriage...can anybody put a light how to deal with this problem....It will be a big help for me....

I filled my TRV application and by mistake did the same error where i did not mention about US visa rejection.
VFS replied me back with the letter saying that i misrepresented and asked me to represent myself within 30 days.

It was my mistake that i didn`t read the form clearly and did not declare my last visa rejection.

can anyone tell me what is this Procedural Fairness letter ?

other than replying back as a formal letter, what can I do to state my mistake ?
