No, They updated the status as Documents Received soon after a few days they received my documents through TCS. And Decision field was showing pending.

After some 2 months i received an email that my application had been approved by department and had been forwarded to Faculty of Graduate Studies for final decision.

Again after some 1 and half month or 2 months, i received an email from registrar offices that my application had been approved. And they asked to pay seat confirmation til given deadline. they also mailed me my unconditional LOA but it was misplaced somewhere in post. When i didn receive my LOA after waiting for more than 45 days, i sent a request for another original copy and final i got it exactly on 28th day from the day they posted.

Yes i have got my package just an hour ago.

I found inside a payment receipt, my PP and that medical wala form.

Also got appointment, it will be on Monday InshALLAH

Its a small sized receipt for visa application fee that we have received your payment of Rs.8700/-.

Didnt you get it in your package?

No yaar. I didn't such kind of receipt. My package consisted only of two things, Medical form & PP.

Bro, i was in contact with both U of A and Dal but applied only to DAL with full dedication... Finally i secured admission in Dal. I am frequently in contact with dal internetworking staff, they were very coperative throughout the admission. Ryerson is also good but why didnt u select DAL?

yar due to few reasons
1) Dal is in Nova Scotia. far end of Canada where as Ryerson is in Toronto.
2) Nova Scotia's weather is bit more harsh.
3) Dalhousie was offering 2 years Master Program where as Ryerson was offering 1 year Program.
4) in last session there were only 2 pakistani students in Dal where as in Ryerson there were more than 10.
5) A friend of friend studying there said me not to come in Dal. as the students r not co-operative, he said that i will get more help in Ryerson.
6) My brother lives in Toronto. so i will not have any problem of accommodation.
7) My friends are in the current on-going session. so its a also a plus point for me.

admission recommendation e-mail from Shelley Caines, Program Administrator : 07/03/2011
Admission confirmation email from registrar's office : 17/03/2011
received the whole admission package by post : sent on 22/03/2011, received on 05/04/2011
Last date of admission confirmation fee submission was 15/04/2011 (i didn't submit the fee and informed them that i got admission in Ryerson University)

yar due to few reasons
1) Dal is in Nova Scotia. far end of Canada where as Ryerson is in Toronto. (Good for you if your bro is in Toronto)

3) Dalhousie was offering 2 years Master Program where as Ryerson was offering 1 year Program.(Its Typical Length is 2 years, however you can do it even in one year)
