Hello friends,

Today I got reply from CHC London for my Case SPecific Inquiry. My Inquiry was as follows...

Request: I have submitted Case Specif enquiry during 2nd week of May and I didnt got any reply till now. I have submitted full docs to London on 6th Jan 2010 which was recd by London CHC on 9th Jan. Got AOR dated 26th Jan. Kindly inform me the status of my application. My Ecas status says "Received by visa office".

The reply I received is as follows...

Dear Sir,

This is in response to your enquiry.

Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time. Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post to the mailing address provided in the application.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Yours sincerely,
Client Service Unit (LIB)

As per the reply they says my application is either in process or waiting for a visa officer. What does this means?

Satish

Hi Satish,
I think you are IN PROCESS but sometimes u find the Ecas updated very late.

Hi Satish
the response you got is a typical letter that comes with your 2nd AOR,i think it means that it is to evaluated by your case worker or vo and when they are satisfied that all is ok it ll go to "In Process" and then medicals.
All the best

Hi,

Anyways... one thing is clear that after inclusion of one more country (Pakistan) into their fold... London processing become delayed... Due to this both our Pak friends as well as others cases delayed. My application date is Jan and this is June.... means now they takes 6 months!!!!

Anyways keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Satish

Satish,

For most of the cases including me, the IN PROCESS came 4 months after the 2 AOR. So you can expect in the month of JULY, dont worry.
I sent a case specific enquiry to CHC on June 15th, no reply yet. How many days they took to reply to your request?

Regards
david

When I sent the request to CHC London, i got a message in the website that reply will be in 28 days but i didnt receive any automated reply in my email address. Is there any acknowledgement email sent immediatly to our email address after sending the request?
