Received an email from CPC OTTAWA "request for documents"

Received a below email from CPC. My file was first reviewed on Sept 8, 2014 and sent for 2nd review. Please advise is it a good sign should I expect Mr or RPRF request next?

From my experience, you almost passed the eligibility provided you furnish these documents. Just send it ASAP and expect MR within a week of sending documents. All the best

Were you in the same situation ? I am also a February 2014 applicant and received my AOR in March 17, and today I received the email from CPC

Yes, Though I never ordered GCMS, but I recieved MR only in February 2015 (after 12 months) , was asked PCC and similary documents. Personal history of Boyfriend etc. Trust me you are through. These are the only concerns as of today that VO has on your file. My lawyer as well said the same to me. As soon as i provided the documents, I received MR within a week.

You have a big reason to feel happy and hope for the best.

Yes, Though I never ordered GCMS, but I recieved MR only in February 2015 (after 12 months) , was asked PCC and similary documents. Personal history of Boyfriend etc. Trust me you are through. These are the only concerns as of today that VO has on your file. My lawyer as well said the same to me. As soon as i provided the documents, I received MR within a week.

You have a big reason to feel happy and hope for the best.

Hi Ali,
I did check your GCMS where VO had issues with your experience and timelines. Here is the thing, its usually a less experience VO who writes all that. But by now senior VO has already gone through your file details, and if he still had those concerns. he would have mentioned that in this email. They know how precious is their and your time, so they wont waste time in asking these documents when they already have bigger questions in mind.

My lawyer explained me how second review works, he had 6 guys under review. There may be multiple reviews going to file, and each time either the same guy or a guy who is just senior to him goes through the details.

Suppose in first review the Junior Vo had 10 issues with file, the second one bit senior may have just 5 (as he thinks other 5 issues are ok).

huh Not sure if I am typing correct english. I am not a native speaker just manged to pass IELTS.

So in a nutshell, I am 100% sure that at this moment your file has no issues other than documents you have been asked for.

You will have your medicals soon after that. Buy yourself a good drink after that.

I got the same request a few weeks back,the next day I got the RPRF email which I paid,a week later we got DM on ECAS,we had MR back at the start of December 2014 though.

I have got the same email on 31st March itself. I also wonder because they asked the form A again as I have submitted updated one 5 months back.

They have also mentioned that your file as been transferred to case processing center Ottawa for further review.

This surprised me because my file is at case processing center Ottawa only since last 18 months.

If anybody else has same experience please with us. I am tense as I don't know what is it further review all about. Some more focus on this issue will be a great help.

Not sure why they said that your file has been transfered besides it was already in CPC for processing have you reveived your MR and please share your timeline.

I second what Linda said.
The second review seems to go really quickly.

My ECAS said "We started to process your application on March 20" (I assumed this is second review).
Request for MR came the next day. (Similar to your 'request of document' I think)

Got PPR on March 31 after completing MR/ RPRF.

I am sure the wait is almost over!

Also, if you receive RPRF request - the email says eligibility is passed, but medical/ security & criminality is still on-going.
