HI everyone, I have a quick question I hope some one can help: I just realized after submitting eAPR that one the scan of my Degree certificate has a thin straight vertical line about 1 pixel thick from top to bottom somewhere in the middle. It looks like a streak that we get sometimes when we photocopy a document, I guess it happened during the scanning process. I am very worried about this, do you think this would cause a problem?

The line does not obscure any text or information as it is just too thin, like a hairline. But I am worried as would they think they think the scan quality is poor and reject it? or would they say the line is an alteration on the certificate and reject it? I would really appreciate your anyone's input on this, especially if anyone else has submitted any scans with similar scanning artifacts. thank you!

You are good, do not worry.... as long as the details are clear you are fine.

Hi Guys, I have my complete POF as FD that was opened 7 months ago.. Can I just submit FD covering letter & FB statement or is it mandatory to submit my bank statements as well

Thanks buddy!! Was an extremely long week for me. Glad that everything is fixed now. Would have been happy if my application was just reopened. To my surprise I received PPR!

Hi dear,

It was inspirational move by you and congrats for PPR:).

Need one input from you, as you have also provided PF as POF.
How did you get PF statement, as I got an online copy, printed it and got it certified by Asstt. PF Commissioner. Will this be sufficient to as POF.

Thanks

My dad's application was rejected in 2009 and said that he can't apply for next 2 years, but my dad than decided he didn't want to applying again and threw away all the details of application including the application number, Now in 2018 i am applying for EE with my wife being the primary applicant and me being the secondary applicant, so does the rejection of my dad's application has any side effects on my application ?
After getting the ITA do i need to mention about the rejection of my dad's application ( which we don't know the application number ) in LOE ?

Is it true that if the case is more than 10 years old it doesn't matters at all ?

Any help would be really appreciated.

your Dad's past rejection shoud not have any impact on your own application. your dad is not a dependent so you don't have to mention anything that.

This means that i am clean on this and don't have to worry about it at all..!! Just for your information in that application i was also included, still it doesn't makes any difference right ?

I raised an RTI request online and the PF office sent a physical copy of my PF statement in 30 days

Dear members I received this request letter but I have triple checked my data and I do not understand where the gap is.
Please note that the previous Schedule A forms that you provided contained large gaps in Personal History. Please ensure that your newly completed Schedule A forms do not leave any gaps in time.
These are the data I submitted in shortened form
November 2006- September 2010 Worked or

October 2005- July 2013 part-time student

October 2010- May 2011 unemployed,

June 2011- June 2013 worked as translator

July 2013- July 2015 unemployed,

August 2015 – up to now self-employed
Another member in this forum found the mistake and corrected it this way
Aug-15 to present
Jul-13 to Aug-15
Jun-11 to Jul-13
Oct-10 to Jun-11
Nov-06 to Oct-10
Oct-05 to Jul-13 (overlap)

My question is that the same mistake is done in work history. That is the date of finishing the job is date i received my last payment.
Is this cause for concern?

Don't worry. It not even been a month. If there is no serious error or misrepresentation in your application, you will be a Canada PR, sooner or a bit later.

did anyone hear of rejection where the employment reference letter only mentions month and year of employment. my reference letter has the following. 'xxxx has been employed with us since march 2010 to march 2017'

There is a clear format which the employment letter should follow. It should mention duration of work, job title, main job responsibilities, hours worked, full time or part time. The visa officer will check if your job title and major responsibilities match or not. Further that should match with your claimed NOC, and job functions should match 70 percent or thereabout,

Also, it should be printed on company letterhead, which should mention company address, email , has a company logo, telephone. And should be signed and issue s by your reporting senior or HR.
