As in Australia :)

4 and half years for myself, 6 years cumulated for my partner

Guys,

What happens when an applicant has not selected the proper NOC code?
As long as their duties and responsibilities match some A OR B skilled job, can't CIC just fix this for them? and assign a NOC code of their liking and then decide if it's either A OR B sill level.
Why reject applications for this minor issue?

Dear all,

I understand i am in a serious problem, in my ECA (from CES) form for my post graduate studies (Masters) i had written the tenure from July 2011 to Dec 2013 (two and a half years). This is due to the reason that i was awarded the degree in 2014, and i was not sure about the exact tenure of my studies.

Now this tenure overlaps with my employment in Qatar.

My questions are;

If i change the dates in eAPR they can ask CES for the form i submitted in which the aforementioned tenure is written ..

However the ECA i received from CES is for two years only (i mean i can change the dates, if they dont ask CES about my form)

Please help!

We had the same issue last August, get rejected our first application because of Australian PCC, even though my partner only lived less than 6 months in Victoria and Queensland and never held a driver license there.
Couldn't really find any indication regarding how long you have to live there to be considered as a resident so when we reapplied in December, to be safe we tried to provide both, on top of the AFP National Police check.
The letter from VicRoads was quite easy to get, you inquire online and they send you back a letter stating you never held a driver license in Victoria State.
For Queensland, was a bit of a nightmare and to this day still no answer from them so when we applied we wrote a LOE with all the efforts made to get it.
Fingers crossed now.

Good luck !

Hi may i know how did u inquire online on vicroads? by leaving them a message?

thx..

Hi everyone.. I have one question if we applied in express entry and if they asked for additional docs say for example celpip score or Schedule A form or travel history form ? can anyone get rejection after submitting those forms too.?.. or we should considered to be on safe side that there is mostly no rejection. as they asked for additional docs.... Has anyone gone through these... thanx

i'm not sure though, back then we were not that stressed out and were not checking our application every day ;-) so we just get an email in our mailbox saying the application was cancelled with the reasons.
things are different for us this time

ic. australian pcc is very ticky, ididnt know it before. my guess is vo will not look into each application in great detail at first. if u have australian living record then they request traffic history etc regardless of which state u actually lived in.

coz once u are in the country, u can travel to any state freely. thats my guess

I still don't see the point to provide the traffic history if you live in certain region of Australia, and if you live in the other regions you are exempted. You could have disdemeanors in WA and CIC would never know it.
Other countries could also provide traffic history but CIC don't ask for it. Maybe because that would be too much work for CIC to review traffic reports from 50 different states for someone from the US.

well that's just the way it is i guess. i learnt to just do what cic ask for without thinking too much about it, point or not, been there done it, can't do it anymore drove me too crazy !

I think CIC wants traffic reports for all regions in aus but ppl can only get it online for vic and queensland, for wa i tried to apply but they request u currently living in wa.
this rule is quite ridiculous, your spot on, cic didnt request this for any other country

1. Because impaired driving shows up on the traffic history, but not on the Criminal records check.

PMM, nice to see you around. You always have the right answers.

I have a quick question seeing all the pcc discussions here.. I lived in India and worked in US. So I just need to submit pcc for these two countries alone right.. For US, FBI pcc is the requirement and it shouldn't be through a channeler unless the applicant is permanent resident or citizen. For India, pcc from psk without any addresses mentioned in it. Am I missing anything else?
