Please relax. Many people were requested of Schedule A. That does not indicate a rejection. Sit tight and wait it out. Your AOR is in April..you are seeing the end of the wait. It wont be long from now. :) Good luck and have confidence!

Hi Miumiu, Have you ever received any request for hukou booklet from CIC?

I had submitted my application for PR without uploading the Iraq PCC. In the LOE, I mentioned that I was not able to apply for my Iraq PCC as one of the requirements for applying for PCC is to give a power of attorney to a trustee in Iraq. Currently i do not have any known person in Iraq to whom I can give a power of attorney. This were the instructions given my the Iraq Embassy in Ottawa. My application has since been cancelled as incomplete.
Has anybody got a PCC for Iraq and what was the process followed to obtain the same.

Although we may be a bit late to respond to this post of yours, as i just bumped into your post...

Yes, we have taken PCC form Iraq, and AFAIK there is nothing like giving a PoA to some trustee in Iraq for getting the PCC.

The process is to fill the application form at a police headquarter and take it from there...Once they accept your application for PCC they will provide you with further instructions on what you need to do to get the PCC.

Hope that helps...

For goodness sake, why can't people respect the essence of this thread? There are so many threads you can get answers to your queries from, why cant people simply use those threads? Just if people are forgetting, this thread is for people to share "reasons for their rejection". Other topics have hijacked the essence of the thread and people no longer share their rejections and inherently will not get needed advice for future applications.
PLEASE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET US BE CIVILIZED AND RESPECT THE ESSENCE OF THIS THREAD.

This forum needs moderators for each topic. The way it is now is extremely inefficient. Currently it seems like users are chatting with each other. You'd need to scroll down for one page only to read multiple users express their happiness or sadness to a particular post/user. So long as this platform is used in this fashion, it is too difficult to search for your questions, and users would keep posting their questions wherever they find simplest. In a well-run forum, and I am speaking from experience, any single repeated question would get a negative point and the user receives a warning. Any statements such as "oh I am so happy for you" and "oh my condolences" and so on are explicitly prohibited. But it doesn't work that way here. Even this post of mine should not be uploaded here as there must be a suggestions/recommendations thread, but hey who cares? Let's just chat and send emojis under "reasons for rejection"! :) ;) :D ;D >:( :(

Thanks for the response. The procedure you have mentioned, is for applicants residing in Iraq. I am currently residing in Canada and am not an Iraq citizen. I worked in Iraq for a couple of years.

ANYONE WHO POSTS ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T RELATE TO THE PURPOSE OF THIS THREAD SHOULD BE GIVEN A -1

I've been scrolling through the thread looking for the reasons for rejections but all I see is people posting their questions whereas there are other threads created for this purpose. It's very frustrating!

In order to revive the purpose of this thread i'll post about a new reason for rejection that I read about today.

Applicant was rejected due to failure to attend interview. The applicant never received an invitation to attend any interview through ECAS/MyCIC or e-mail. A CSE has been sent and he's hoping to have the case re-pened.

What kind of abomination is this? Very very sad! I have heard many people telling they do NOT receive certain mails from CIC but then, at a later date, they get a message saying that CIC has requested these documents so please send it on time! Very bad, not at all streamlined :( . I hope nobody gets these kinds of problem hereafter!!

Did the applicant's mycic account show that an interview was needed?

Guys i came to canada in 2012 as a student. I applied for the september batch and i lodged my study permit application in july of 2012. I was working at a place since june 11 and i asked them to write me a letter stating that i worked there since then so i could attach it to my study permit file. On the study visa file my exp was until june but i actually worked until the end of july.
So i have had this question for a while. Would it be misrepresentation because in my pr application i did ryt i worked until july 2012. When I applied for my off campus my pgwp and study permit extension, I did mention abt the job but i never care to remember what month did i put there. I am just kinda worried. Bcz i never really thought the exp could come handy down the line. So what do u say guys ? Should i worry abt it ?

Please help

hey did you receive PPR ?

Hello guys,
My application was refused . I applied under CEC.
The reason is that I didn't have an ECA for my Bachelor diploma as I already had a Canadian Certificate as higher education and I claimed points (selecting 2 or more degrees option).
I read here that it was not necessary to include ECA for the other diploma. So if ECA is necessary why they have the option to put "No" in the Express Entry Profile when you don't have it?
Any advises? Is it possible to reopen after I get an ECA report?

Thank you.

Probably not. Make another profile and get back into pool and get ECA ASAP!

you don't need ECA for the Canadian diploma but you're claiming points for two qualifications, one of which is a foreign credential and a higher level than the Canadian one so you do need that one evaluated. It was the right decision by CIC so they won't re-open. Get the ECA and re-enter the pool.

so a go back in my husband ITA and there is :
1- Skill Transferability- Education-13 points..That means he claim and he get points for foreign education?(here he put 1 year vocational diploma from his country)
2-Skill Transferability-Certificate of Qualification-25 points( this is his Red Seal in Canada)
My husband apply under CEC + LMIA but i don't know if this is important...
Here is something what i don't understand....i went back in my husband ITA and it's seems he claim and he get points for foreign education and we did't send ECA because here in Canada is no any organization to do ECA for vocational diploma in trade ....So what we can do...? I think our application we be cancelled soon...I post here how look my husband ITA. Any opinions?

My application got refused because as I claimed points for 2 degrees and I didn't have ECA for the Bachelor one, my score decreased and I was not qualified anymore.
As your husband has LMIA maybe even without the credentials, he will have enough score to be qualified. Not sure, but this is an option.
