Reasons for Rejection

People have doubts because still things are not very clear. There are a lot of opinions and not many genuine cases where one can verify details.but i appreciate responses and that actually helps aa lot in clearing many diubts.

Hi guys,

I got an ITA on July and then yesterday i submitted my application after uploading all the documents. But now few things are worrying me

1. I uploaded only the bio-pages of my passport.
2. for proof of funds I uploaded T4 for year 2014-15 and NOA of the same, some investments made back in India which sums upto C$ 5000, a property document that has a value of C$ 5000 (but the whole document is in a Indian regional language)

Though I added a Letter of explanation for the property document explaining that its in a rural area and regional offices only works in regional languages.
now all the monetary amounts are in Indian currency and I do not have any letter etc that gives a values of those in Canadian dollars.

3. After i uploaded some documents especially for my daughter i dont see them anymore and i submitted the application.


now can anybody help me with these situations on what best i can do so that my application get processed smooth.

Agree with you on everything except answering 'No' apparently removes that irritating requirement of uploading both Letter of Employment and Offer of Employment. No logic, just the way the system is structured.

Ha! True! I didn't mind having to do that, and was only glad that I also had the chance to prove ongoing financial resources in addition to my barely-over-the-required-funds bank account.

Not to let you down, but from a glance at your post, i believe your application is going to be rejected or (hopefully) just returned.

Why would you submit something that is neither in English nor translated. Second, you need ALL pages of the passport. Bio is not enough. You at least need to send all the pages that has stamps.

Get them translated and send. Also, for settlement funds, Canada requires them to be easily liquidated - Your property isn't.

I think you can still show salary as a POF if you answer NO to job offer when you have a job offer minus lmia.

Bio data page should be OK, but non-English documents will be a real problem.

Does somebody knows how long they take to refund the money ? I just got an invitation to apply but I sent a CSE as well. Now I don't know if I have to wait for the refund or apply and pay now for this new application.

in the letter they said "please upload these document to your myCIC account" within 7 days. but the one I upload it before was the same one I will upload it now, do you think its much better to upload it again and send the original by mail to not exceed deadline?

Under EE< you can't physically mail anything. Recommend you to upload the document in the required section in your MyCIC. There is a possibility that they didn't receive it properly the first time around because of some technical glitch hence they are requesting for it now.

I think it all depends on CIC officer assigned to the case... In my case - missing diploma - ok, my mistake, but WES transcript is more strict document than diploma - I could never get that transcript without having all university docs, so it is clear that I have it... and also - there is reference number to check for documents, if needed...

I have send Mr. Cohen a query to advise if there is hope to complain and ask for application reopen... I am very sceptic about it, but will probably submit CSE - maybe I will have better luck with officer this time...

What's bothering me is when should i make a new profile since CIC from its letter of refusal advised that i can apply under ee again by making new profile, so i did a day after the sad news but what's disappointing now, my new profile was found ineligible..could it be because my e-APR is still open?it says, no final decision has been made yet... Any idea? Thank you!

That is not likely to be the case. Re-check your application to see if you are making any small mistake somewhere.

Failing that, create a fresh GCKey and use that to make a fresh profile.

Simultaneously, try reopening your cancelled application by sending in a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) and attach your ECA and degree certificate(s) and request CIC to reopen your application. Some members have done this successfully.
