Reasons for Rejection

My Wife is the principal applicant and she works with her father in a family business, She has submitted a Letter from her father that she is a member in the Family Business running the Showroom, her tax returns and proof of tax registration and a letter from her accountant showing earnings for the last few years all as proof of employment, she forgot to add invoices that she sends to her clients to show proof of services rendered, do you think this will cause us to be rejected? or will they just ask for invoices? There is a lot of extra information about the business. We are very worried as this is our second application and we don't have another 6 months to wait until a third application. Thanks

• if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

by reading above (specially last part ...and documentation from third pary ....) and couple of other threads and posts, i am afraid documents you submitted may not be sufficient. you should enclose reference letters from your customers mentioning the job/services you did/provided and payments they made to you. should also enclose bank statements to prove that you received payments from customers in particular from the customers you got reference letters. if you have not already enclosed above, i think you should send asap as part of CSE.

Guys, I'm about to submit e-APR. Still have few confusions:

1. I got my bank statement from Standard Chartered Bank but the stamp/seal put in each page is in black ink. So when I scaned it, it doesn't look like a original statement as all contents are in black and white (even bank logo is in black & white). Is it okay to upload? However, the certificate of bank balance I got is in color letter head and the manager's seal is also in read ink.
2. Is it necessary to upload wife's passport pages with travel stamps & visas or only bio page is enough? My wife lost her old passport where there was one travel record.

Could you please elaborate a bit. CIC asks scan pages of all stamps, visas & markings whereas my wife's lost passport had one visa & stamps.

Scan pages of stamps, visas & markings on your current valid passport only, the one you are planning on travelling with. You don't need to scan old passports, even though they might have markings or visas from previous trips that you have included in your e-APR travel history.

However, you might need the old passport to validate your dates of travel...

You are fine. Many have names written with only initials. I would say wait and see if they request additional documents from you.

Dear group,
I have few question and please accept my apology if they have already answered in this forum.

while medical test is valid for one year what happens if it expires during the course of application processing. I am going to send my application sometime end of September. I am PNP applicant and the process for PNP applicants is longer than others. My medical test is valid until March 2018 and it is more likely that it expires before CIC starts investigating my medical test. Do I need to take new medical test?

My second question is about the validity of 600 points of PNP applicant. Similar to medical test, after submitting PR application PNP points expire sometime in the middle of application processing. Is my PR application still valid beyond the expiration of PNP points?

There isn't really a special form as far as I'm aware. A balance certificate also isn't EXACTLY what IRCC wants as your proof of funds....the letter that they're asking for is a little different from a balance certificate (see below regarding the letter needed as outlined by CIC's website).

However, I also understand that some banks won't provide you with anything other than the balance certificate. If your bank(s) won't provide you with the letter as outlined below and the balance certificate is all you can get, you may need to do a Letter of Explanation (LOE) outlining the other aspects of the letter that the balance certificate didn't cover, and detailing your loans and debt, including any other kinds of documentation you can find as evidence to the loans and debt...

The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.

• The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months.
