For the current residence, it should be issued with in the last six months, for prior residences it should be issued after the last time you were there.

Thanks fkl!!! PCC from Pakistan embassy is better or individual cities PCCs I resided in Pakistan? Currently I am in UAE.

Hello Seniors,

I am filling schedule-A form and have a question regarding Personal History-Status in Country:
What should I fill here for the duration when my WP application refused and lived there for 4 days before returning my home country ?

Also my degree is bilingual (half in native language and half in English) this should be ok and no affidavit required, right?

Please advice.

1. Your application is at the mercy of a particular immigration officer, depends on his work load and priorities.

2. It is very important that your application and documents are precise. If you attach unnecessary documents, then you cannot complain "Why your application is taking longer to process?"

3. If you get request for Additional documents with a deadline of , lets say 15 days, and you submit the document in 2-3 days, Still there is a high chance that further processing will start once the 15 day deadline crosses.

4. Officers do get annoyed with calls or email requesting information on processing, if within standard processing time of 6 months. And its natural for anyone. In fact, it might raise eyebrows as in why the applicant is hurrying up and is impatient, which might make the officer look into the file more deeply for any flaws. So, in my opinion we should not inquire them or order GCMS notes unless the 6 month time has passed.

5. Major reason of Refusal - Not attaching mandatory documents as per Check list. It's advisable to attach relevant and mandatory documents for faster and positive processing of your file.

6. Beware of OUTDATED FORMS (CIC will turn down application for that)

Hello friends
I have 1 more doubt.
My husband did his master's degree in Canada and bachelor's in India
As we got ITA under cec
So planning to upload master's degree certificate and transcripts to prove his post secondary education.
Do we need to upload his bachelor's degree too?
Because he didn't do any ECA for bachelor's degree.
Just claimed points for his master's degree.
Is uploading master's degree is sufficient?

My experience certificate issued 8 years ago and it and no salary and NOC code. I tried to contact my employer to get new certificate. However, my reporting officer is retired and new officer does not now me. I cannot connect the retired officer. Would it be OK to submit old letter with LOE, offer letter and leaving order?

Yes as long as it has work hours per week and duties and responsibilities.

If your reference letter states that you were a full time employee you might be fine.

Otherwise figure it out.
