i need you guys help! I just uploaded my file today and i suddenly found out that i uploaded the wrong reference letter for my previous work experience <i had 2 part time job when I was in school and I currently working full time in vancouver ) I uploaded my part time reference letter into the employment record for full time and uploaded the full time reference letter for my part time employment record.... I know it's a silly and sooooo stupid mistake.... will I be Reject? I looked at the cic website and they use the global case system to check the document. So I assume my case will be reject automatically before VO look into it ? Feeling not good....

What 50 points are you talking about. A validated job offer (one with LMIA gets you 600 points), no LMIA, no 600. Otherwise you score out of remaining 600 (unless you had a PNP).
Hi fkl, as per the changes implemented on 19th November, LMIA exempt contract workers will be eligible to claim 50 if they have a closed work permit and if their offer is valid for one year after the permanent residence is issued. My question is will I be rejected because of the way my contract is worded?

Did you already transmitted your eAPR? Have you already got AOR? if not, just replace your uploaded doc with newer one.

Otherwise, the only workaround is to raise a CSE with LOE & correct work reference document.

Thanks

Dears,

After Receiving the ITA, Does changing my NOC from 2173 - Software engineers and designers to 2174-Computer programmers and interactive media developers may lead the the application to be rejected, noting that they are under the Skill level A?

Appreciate your prompt support,

Thanks,

No - that's probably not sufficient, unless they mistake it for an actual translation. If i were you, i would get a translation and submit via CSE asap
What is CSE again?

1st Experience -- 27th May13 to 06th Aug15 ( 2years, 2months and 10 days)
2nd Experience -- 16th Nov15 to 13th May16 (6 months)
3rd Experience -- 26th Sept16 (current job)

Hi Experts,

Could you pl review my above mentioned experience details and confirm me with date of completion of 3 years.
Will it be 15th Jan17( day-wise) or 26th Jan17 ( month-wise) ? Reason behind highlighting it, if we have draw on 25th Jan17, can I accept ITA ( claiming 3 years of exp) ?

TIA

Erm...it all changed on 19th Nov. A lmia gets you either 50 or 200 points depending on the noc code. There is no 600 points for lmia.

Pnp is still 600 points.

You qualify for a valid job offer of 50 points if you have been working on a closed work permit for a year with the company already and they are willing to employer you for at least a year.
Thanks Kryt0n, i had no idea of this change. Seems like being out of the system yourself slowly gets you outdated, no matter how hard you try to keep yourself in loop. Appreciate the info and correction.

My apologies Janaki, I hadn't seen this update yet. Its hard to say this with certainly since this is really new.

But to the best of my understanding, seeing how CIC has worked over the years, no it shouldn't be an issue. The case analyst / officer looking at your file will mainly look for one year duration min - mentioned in the letter.

Besides no matter what any one says, even every permanent job is also subject to satisfactory performance (barring very few which we can safely ignore here).

I doubt that it would be an issue. But still this is just an opinion.

Hi guys,

All my reference letters are matching the requirements in the help button on the checklist page.

but they are stating the working hours per week only 40, 44 and 48 not mentioning full time
but each one is for 1 year, 2.5 years and 5 years.

are they OK?
