Francko so sorry to hear about your rejection especially after four months. It certainly is worth a shot to try and get CIC to reopen your application. Also contact PEI and ask them to transfer nomination to your new profile.

Can you please paste CIC's explanation of why they rejected your employment letter.

Wow, that is brutal!
Did you use the same employement letter to get PEI nomination? It is strange that CIC will reject a PNP candidate on grounds of experience letter. I was of the opinion that the province must have checked this before nomination.
Anyways, depending on if it was not enough job description, you might be able to get them to reopen with a CSE.
Good luck!

Hello everyody,

I'm new in ths thread, not to the forum. I got AOR August 11 and haven´t got rejection yet, but I´m prety sure it´s going to happen. The thing is I got my GCMS notes and this is what it says:

ANALYST RECOMENDATION: Review required

..."submitted reference letter describes duties that are not consistent with the lead statement and do not reflect a subtantial number of main duties as set out in the selected NOC..."

I applied under NOC 1111, Financial Auditors and Accountants, but when the agent names the NOC in my notes it says "financial auditors and consultants". I don´t know why the difference nor if it´s importante or not.

My background hasn´t even gone into process.

My question is, is there anything I can do to help and get this clarified? What if a submit a new letter from my employer with more detailed duties?? Would it hel or I can´t do it at this stage?

I also got my husbands IELST results after getting ITA, can I submit them now? Would it help?

On the other hand, I´m frustrated not just because of the inminent rejection but because it has taken so long and they haven´t done anything...

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Connie.

I think you should get new reference letters from your employers with detailed job descriptions as per the duties you performed inlined with relevant NOC and send it to CIC through CSE.. tell them you obtained GCMS and with reference to it you'd line to submit new reference letters which are in more detail... best of luck.

Thank you so much murtazajaffri_cca for you response!! I suppose I can do that. Won't loose anything...

Given your precarious situation, where it's beyond your control, the best you can do is to get and updated reference letter and do a CSE IMMEDIATELY (along with your spouse's IELTS Score with a very polite LoE) while they are at it and maybe planning to reject your case any time soon.

I second CanadaWeCome. You might get +ve result. And there is nothing wrong in trying for it. Just write a polite letter that through GCMS notes you got to know that reference letter is not enough so i am attaching detailed letter from employer again. Make sure duties are matched this time. If there is no problem do share your reference letter here, which can help others..

Sorry to hear about your GCMS notes, recommend you do as murtazajaffri_cca has told you.

Your post urges me to express my concerns about CIC's requirements for employment letters and what seems like a complete cluelessness about professionals specializing in their occupations. My NOC is 2145 - Petroleum Engineers and what I can tell you with 100% certainty is that there is not a single petroleum engineer in the world who performs more then two duties outlined in NOC description. They specialize in certain fields of their profession and perform one or maybe two duties listed in respective NOC. If they refuse every applicant whose experience letter doesn't match most of the duties listed in their NOC, I will surely be refused the PR and see no path for myself to ever meet their requirements except completely lying in my experience letter, the option which my company has already refused to do.
