Dear Friends,
I raised CSE on 16-4-2014 in order to confirm whether NDVO received my PCC, Medical and RPRF . Today I received a email

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We have received the requested information/documents and your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer.

At this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly. For detailed processing times for applications in New Delhi, please refer to website link: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/skilled_workers-travailleurs_qualifies.aspx?lang=eng.
My timelines are on the left kindly suggest when I will get PPR.

Each visa office works differently. I also sent an email to the visa office to confirm receipt of my medicals and PCC and I got no response and I sent another reminder email and finally I got a phone call from the embassy. A very nice and cooperative lady told me that the embassy do not confirm receipt of documents but if anything goes wrong or beyond the permitted deadline, they would themselves send me an email to enquire about missing documents that supposedly were not submitted by me.

Hello Seniors, need your advice on below.

I have a query for my friend who recently got the medicals for herself and his spouse. She is the primary applicant and her husband is not accompanying as he is not interested to move to Canada.

The problem is that since her husband is not willing to go for medicals therefore he is also not interested to go for medicals.. Please suggest what she should do...? Can she give a declaration to CIC that her husband is not willing to move anytime in future so please proceed with her application ??

Thanks

Congrats buddy.

How did you submit your request the Canada High Commission for passport submission changed to Abu Dhabi VO?? Because Im in Muscat and I would like to know whether there is an option to submit my pp in Abu Dhabi itself.

Hi,
Please get in touch with me.. I am also from Muscat and am facing paranoia since we don't have VFS in Muscat. Hence, I had to send all passports via a relative to India. Then my dad had to courier the same to NDVO. It has reached their office, and I have requested them to send it back to my dad's address in India. But my mailing address on application states - Muscat, Oman.

It is a big mess up... Inbox me.. maybe we can share the stress we poor Muscat-ees are facing!

Hi Guys,
Submitted passport at VFS, Delhi on 18/5/15 and received text that it has been forwarded to Canada Visa Office.
When can I expect it back ?
Also for how long VFS can keep it with them if there is some delay in collection.
Advise.

This is a very tough situation. Medicals should be done by accompanying and non accompanying dependents. The wife has to write a well detailed letter to the visa office explaining the situation that the husband does not want to move to Canada and refuses to do medicals. if that explanation is acceptable, the wife should submit a declaration of non medical request for a non accompanying dependent that she could never sponsor her husband and should be certified with a notary and send the original copy to the local visa office. Then the husband as he is over the age of 18, he should also write a letter advising that he will never apply for family sponsorship and that he recognizes that his wife can never sponsor him for immigration and that he understands the consequences of not taking medical exam.

THERE SHOULD BE A REAL REASON THAT MEDICAL EXAM IS RENDERED IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE BY A DEPENDENT WHETHER ACCOMPANYING OR NOT

There is another scenario, Can the husband just do medical exam just in order not to block the process and may chose not to move to Canada later?

The concern here with CIC is that the dependent who does not want to take medical exam might suffer from an inadmissable desease and this is why CIC requires medical exams done for all accompanying and non accompanying dependents whether they will go to Canada or not. They think that the principal applicant is hiding this truth in order to avoid the refusal of his or her application.

Hello All,

I got my medical request or PPR1 as a few of us call it, on 8th-9th May 2015,
I got my e-medicals done at Panchsheel Max on 14th May 2015, and as asked by CIC, also got my passport copies scanned and emailed them (soft copies) to my visa office (they asked me to pay the RPRF Fee, send the scanned copies of the passport and to get the medicals done).

Now what all I have done is,
1. Got the e-medicals done,
2. Scanned my valid passport,
3. Paid the RPRF Fee using a Credit Card,
4. Sent the soft copies of the passport, medical reciept (3 pages including the bill) + soft copy of the RPRF receipt along with the email.

Am I done with it ? or there is something I didn't do ?

It was written on the RPRF slip that the hard copy / print out only will be considered as a valid proof.
What does that mean?

Kindly Help. Thanks :)
