Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum but have gone through recent posts and find it very useful to share knowledge between other forumites. My timeline is as below:

NOC: 2241
NDVO
App. Received: 23.06.2014
PER: 21.10.2014
Processing Started: 10.12.2014
MR: 29.12.2014
Med Received/ ECAS 3rd Line : 23.01.2015

It's been almost 4 months and I haven't received any further update from NDVO. Please note that I did my medicals from Shanghai(China) due to my employment abroad and my wife did her medicals from India. We informed them about my wife's pregnancy during medicals (Expected due date is end of June) however she completed her medicals and did X-ray with protective shields as suggested by her doctor. Meantime I have returned to India and have renewed my passport due to exhausted pages. Now my questions are:

1. Could this delay in PPR be due to my wife's pregnancy?
2. Do I need to update NDVO with my 'Travel History' as I have traveled abroad after submission of my application?
3. How to update NDVO about new passport details?

Hope to hear from senior members soon and many thanks in advance.

Please get in touch with me.. I am also from Muscat and am facing paranoia since we don't have VFS in Muscat. Hence, I had to send all passports via a relative to India. Then my dad had to courier the same to NDVO. It has reached their office, and I have requested them to send it back to my dad's address in India. But my mailing address on application states - Muscat, Oman.

It is a big mess up... Inbox me.. maybe we can share the stress we poor Muscat-ees are facing!

But as SVB suggested, we can request the Canada High Commission for that corresponding approval to change the stamping center. Anyway for your case I dont smell any issues. You can get the passport back I hope before leaving Oman to exit from the country.

Hello All,

I got my medical request or PPR1 as a few of us call it, on 8th-9th May 2015,
I got my e-medicals done at Panchsheel Max on 14th May 2015, and as asked by CIC, also got my passport copies scanned and emailed them (soft copies) to my visa office (they asked me to pay the RPRF Fee, send the scanned copies of the passport and to get the medicals done).

Now what all I have done is,
1. Got the e-medicals done,
2. Scanned my valid passport,
3. Paid the RPRF Fee using a Credit Card,
4. Sent the soft copies of the passport, medical reciept (3 pages including the bill) + soft copy of the RPRF receipt along with the email.

Am I done with it ? or there is something I didn't do ?

It was written on the RPRF slip that the hard copy / print out only will be considered as a valid proof.
What does that mean?

No Cheetah...I have mentioned clearly that you will have to contact your resp. visa office for approval to stamp visa where you are right now..so if your visa office is New Delhi then mail them...if warsaw then mail them..and same continues..

Hey guys,

Just got an email from HKVO asking our PCCs, hospital birth certificate from my daughter (I only sent the one I got at BR Embassy) AND to pay the RPRF ;D

Should I expect MR to come in the next few days? Does the fact that they already asked for RPRF mean that background check is done?

quite obvious anything after PER is a positive sign. look they asked rprf only if the case has potential to get approved.

Yes Rajeev, Im also planning to send a mail to New Delhi VO after getting the PPR . So when are you planning to fly??

Will plan after receipt of PP..but not planning soon thou..will spend few more months in uae then permanently to canada.. ;D

Hello Everyone,

Finally I got a mail from CVO for RPRF and document request of latest employment reference letter. Mentioned MR mail will be sent separately(not yet received).

I have few question as below, seniors kindly advise..

1. Is anything to be worried about the request for latest reference letter?
2. Can I send the same letter submitted earlier just by adding few roles which were done for last 7 months?
3. Can I upload the soft copy of the reference letter or should send the hard copy by courier?

My timeline:
App reached: Oct 3rd
PER: Jan 14th
AOR(CVO) : Feb 23rd
RPRF/Doc request: May 19th
MR: May 19th (waiting for mail)

The same happened with me. After 3 months they asked for MR. If I may ask, what is your nationality?

Guys sorry for the late reply but happy to share with you all i got PPR on 13/5/15...was asked to submit PP to Vfs India..requested Colombo VO for Submission of PP in Abu Dhabi on 13/5/15 itself..received approval documents in pdf format on 15/5/15...Submitted PP on 17/5/15 at Vfs Abu Dhabi... ;D ;D
They said it will take 5 days to process..hopefully it should come by Sunday... ;D
