Dear Amzz..just i have one doubt regarding the same topic..even my third line is medicals received..so wanted to know now will they carry out background check, reference check etc or it must be already done? And moreover do they carry out checks for all or only to suspicious cases?

Background check after medical is very rare like if they have any doubt VO can call you over phone or an interview can take place but its very rare like chances are 1%

Immidiately apply for tatkal passport. if you receive ppr then they will give you the time of 1month and if you still will not able to renew passport . u can raise CSE and request them to extend time to Submit passport

3rd line “ Medical results have received ” updated on 08th April . I need some clarity

1. If 3rd line is updated – it means Medicals are approved & other background checks are on-going

2. OR Medical results are also been checked in parallel

NDVO
Application date : 10th Sept ,
PER -- 17th December
Medical request -- March 14th
Medical Done --- March 25th -- Also submitted RPRF & PCC
3rd line update ---- April 08th

Dear pranu2013, congrats on ur medicals. Now your 3rd line is updated means, your medicals are clear and now they will initiate your Criminality checks, which you'll clear for sure and then u r going to get your DM line in ECAS. so Now sit tight and wait for that.

Dear SVB2411, it is not an issue, you've done your medicals and your medicals were received means this is something to be felt happy, previously there might be some system mistake that 2nd line is not updated, but as far as not it is sowing all the three lines its a good sign and a very good news.

As you can see my medicals were submitted on 31st March & i assume and what i have heard once medicals are done all checks are cleared. But now second line came in and says processing started on 15th APRIL 2015!! How come they are processing after asking medicals? IS it like now they will carry out background checks & reference checks etc??

Can you please further clarify your last answer regarding bank statement. Because I have submitted POF with my application but not maintained balance afterwards. But if required I can submit proof of current balance again. Will this be enough?

Dear Fahad, i think it is not to be worried, because if VO feels any doubt in ur POF they will ask you to resend the POF Document

I dont think so, some system or error might have occurred, also for your information i want to show some examples to u, there are some applicants who got medicals received even before MR, which were later corrected be VO.. then now what do you think of this..

Hi Friend,

This seems like a case of misunderstanding on the VO's end....and some fault lies with the Letter u wrote...

Do not panic, start collecting proof of what you can show..

Draft a cover letter explaining (very very politely) tht Probationary Officer is ur Actual Designation...Also explain that a PO in an Indian Govt. Bank joins as Scale 1 officer and during the 2 years of Probation, he may be allotted to any department and allotted a wide range of tasks. Which in ur case was primarily Supervision of Bank Clerks. So the Designation is PO, the job duties assigned to u was Bank Clerk Supervision which involved (insert details here). VO seems to have become confused primarily bcos of ur reference letter wording...

Now attach all possible Official Docs that you can obtain.....

a. The person who signed the Original Reference Letter- Try to obtain a revised Reference Letter that mentions the same thing as the Cover Letter that I mentioned above and giving that person's contact information (possibly on Official Letterhead)

b. If possible, try to obtain a 2nd reference letter from one of the Clerks that you supervised, also stating ur duties as above and giving his contact info..

b. Is there any Advertisement that mentions some details of Job profile of PO in Allahabad bank? Like there is one such advertisement for SBI PO where there is a section called 'Career Path' mentioned->

If it exists, attach to ur application

c. Any Job Description mentioned in ur Offer Letter, or on Bank Intranet system- that'd also help

d. Any work emails that give an idea about ur day-to-day duties...

I don't think so....above 140/90 would have been a concern...

Did the Panel Physician ask u to take furtherance tests like ECG, 2D Echo, Serum Creatinine, etc due to high BP??....
