Folks/Experts,

Considering my timeline as below, when do you think I will get DM/PPR from NDV?

1. App Received: Aug-06, 2014
2. PER: Nov-27, 2014
3. Processing started: End of Jan 2015
4. Medicals Done, Received: 11th Feb/17th Feb: India PCC, RPRF also submitted.
5. FBI PCC Received/reached: March 30, 2015.

You can expect between 4-6 weeks from the time the FBI PCC was sent.

Guyz plz help me out :-X my ecas is just not updating even my medicals are done today my ecas is just showing 1 line which is we received ur app on 14 may 2014.
My timeline is
App received 14 may 2014
Interview 24 march 2015 at Abu dhabi
MR and RPRF on 26 March 2015
MR done 6 april 2015
RPRF sent 02 April 2015
Alot of changes have been with my application but still ecas is showing just 1 line IN PROCESS WE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE ON 14 MAY 2014
any1 with similar situation???? Guyz how I will know that a decision has been made on my application? ??
Feeling so tensed plz advice me.

Buddy....You have waited this long....have patience for few more days. You should have an update by next wed.
Completing medicals is a big thing and you had done that. +1 for your patience

Couple of answers are required.

The amount one has to carry to Canada should be at least what is declared in POF?

Since there is a restriction on taking more than $10000 accross the border.
So what are the options available if one has to take $18000 with him.

By God's grace i have got my passport back with the visa stamp. Thanks to each one of you for the relentless help that was provided.All the best to all waiting for PER/MR/PPR/visa stamp.

I am planning to land in toronto in the 3rd week of june. Looking forward to the new phase in life.

I have updated my timelines, and will be updating the spreadsheet soon.

No its not possible as your Passport is not valid and the Visas stamped on it are also not valid. Please note that the Visas contains your passport no.

i have travelled to USA and CANADA as well.
U need to carry old and new passports together

Hi,

Its not necessary to carry the entire funds with you however they might ask for the POF on landing to make sure that you have the necessary funds.

Also, there is no restriction to carry more than 10000 dollars. One can carry more than 10000 dollars but the amount needs to be declared to the immigration officer at the time of landing.

Dont be tensed please.. its normal... as per ECAS website its usually updated on tuesday.. once a week... i know cases who got 3rd line of MEDICALS RECEIVED but still no 2nd line... so it does not matter... i have sent you a PM too.. GOD BLESS and wish u a speedy process
