No its not possible as your Passport is not valid and the Visas stamped on it are also not valid. Please note that the Visas contains your passport no.

PLEASE NOTE:- you can travel on the same visa stamped on old passport by carrying both the passport till the time your visa is valid... passport reissue or cancellation has no concern with visa validity. .. visa remains valid till the end date. ... we have same case at our passport and travelled to USA with no problems at all...

I am from India and my files are transferred to Colombo
My medical requested is already been completed

1. Now when my passport request comes .. then where would I be sending my passport? / In my view, visa stamping will be done at NDVO.

2. Will VFS be a good option to handle this or if I do courier on my own it is ok ? / You can use either of the two but VFS is considered to be much safer option. Also, if you use a courier company to send the passports to VO, they will send it back through local mail.

No idea. I have processed through a local immigration consultant who in turn works for through a ICCRC approved lawyer. All the communication details, except my address were filled of that lawyer.

Even if the communication details provided are that of the lawyer, your consultant would have asked you to provide a demand draft or your credit card details to make the payment for processing fee. You can check with your bank if that payment has gone through.

They would only need applicant's details like First name, Last name, DOB, Date of application, Passport no. to be able to locate the application. Your consultant/lawyer are just your representatives and there information would be present only on representatives form.... Rest of the information in all the other forms is your information.

Considering my timeline as below, when do you think I will get DM/PPR from NDV?

1. App Received: Aug-06, 2014
2. PER: Nov-27, 2014
3. Processing started: End of Jan 2015
4. Medicals Done, Received: 11th Feb/17th Feb: India PCC, RPRF also submitted.
5. FBI PCC Received/reached: March 30, 2015.

Its not really allowed to send passports outside a country via post. So there's a very high probability that visa stamping would happen at NDVO itself.

Guyz plz help me out :-X my ecas is just not updating even my medicals are done today my ecas is just showing 1 line which is we received ur app on 14 may 2014.
My timeline is
App received 14 may 2014
Interview 24 march 2015 at Abu dhabi
MR and RPRF on 26 March 2015
MR done 6 april 2015
RPRF sent 02 April 2015
Alot of changes have been with my application but still ecas is showing just 1 line IN PROCESS WE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE ON 14 MAY 2014
any1 with similar situation???? Guyz how I will know that a decision has been made on my application? ??
Feeling so tensed plz advice me.
