Yes, you need to carry authorization letter. There is a form on VFS website, you need to fill it and get it signed from your spouse.

I submitted my wife's passport today at VFS. They did not ask me any form/authorization letter, so I think it's not required.
However, I would suggest to carry it on safer side.

There was a deadline for FSW 2014, that is Dec 31, 2014.

Is there any deadline for VO, when to complete the FSW 2014 applications????

By this pace, LVO will take another year to send the MR. One strange thing is that only LVO has requested for Photos. it seems other VO's are convinced with the Photos originally submitted and don't ask for revised one's.
