Hello friends,

I have been a silent reader of this great forum and i most thank you all for your love in this lovely forum

Please i need your help.

My application has not been straight forward as me and my fianc'e applied for 2014 FSW and luckily both application receive PER. But now we are married. I married since December last year but yet to tell Accra Visa office about my marriage

We have not told AVO about our marriage because they asked for more doc in regards to my own application since they have started processing mine which i provided to them

Now I have done my medical and also sent a bank draft for the RPRF and also updated schedule A form last month but yet to tell AVO that i am married. I am actually waiting till they ask for my passport before i tell them about our marriage

1)Do you think this is good thing to do or i should tell me now that i am married before they request for passport?

2)Is there any possibility of refusal even after medical?

3)My wife is still in Nigeria while am in UK, would that affect anything?

I will really appreciate your help here

in my opinion, you should inform now....and ask for further procedure ....

Line 1: "We received you application for permanent residence on XX-XXX-XXXX" means you application has moved out of Nova Scotia and reached local VO.
Line 2: "We started processing you application on XX-XXX-XXXX" means after clearing all backlog, background and documentation checks are almost over for your application too. You may get MR and RPRF request soon.
Line 3: "Medical results have been received" ... Self explanatory
Line 4: "Decision has been made on your application"... again self explanatory for most cases and means good news too for most cases, unless this message is appearing under Line 3 which means nothing else but rejection on some serious grounds.

Nope, there is only one more line which is somewhat like that:

"5. You landed in Canada at border entry XYZ on date XYZ and became a Permanent Resident."

Nothing to worry as NDVO has confirmed that your case is under the process of Background Check.

I suggest you to call your previous companies and colleagues from whom you have taken the reference letters and alert them that they will be getting the calls and they shall be in a position to verify your credentials.......

What I understood from my friends already in Canada......the Third party which is responsible to do verification will call your references in disguise...posing as insurance agent etc and will try to verify your credentials...

No, you don't need to send anything else.

seek an advise from dear seniors...

i recently visited australia means i have its permanent residency now...i came back after its visit to mid east where i am doing my job right now...now point is i applied under FSW 2014 on 5-June-2014, got my PER on 2 oct 2014...after PER no contact from CIC..my VO is LVO..now should i inform CIC about this travel plus resident visa of Asutralia. If yes then how? or should i wait for CIC correspondance and then let them know...seniors plz advise.

I need your guidance,

LVO has requested my payslips from past employer. I had worked for two years with this employer, but LVO did not specify duration.

Now my question is " how many months payslip document am I suppose to send to them?


I would be waiting for response.
