My Home Address Displayed on the Ecas is NOT MINE, and I am still in India, and the Address showing up is of Canada.

Really Confusing and causing me Worry as to why such a thing has happened.

A bit late to notice but there is news release on CIC website titled as
"Remaining Citizenship Act reforms coming into force"
There is a long list of new requirements including
- 1,460 days stay in Canada during six years before application and 183 days in each of four calendar years within the qualifying period.
- basic knowledge requirement for applicant between 14 and 64 years of age

Now my concerns are:

- Will this effect our PR applications? OR
- our citizenship application (to be made in future)?

This will not affect your PR application.These are requierments for applying for citizenship after you land and become pr of Canada

Or is it just an Update of the Ecas System in which all FSW applicants Ecas has been update with home address??

Have all received HOME ADDRESS update on Ecas or only a few cases the Home Address has been update?

Dear Friends,

I would really appreciate if you advise me for below issue:

I have applied Federal Skilled Worker and finally decision has been made on my application recently. I am planning to apply University or job in my country outside Canada. I need PR card/documents that prove my PR status in order to apply University/job. In order to get PR card I need to enter Canada and I have already bought a ticket to Canada 21 August 2015 and will return 26 August 2015. I will give my friend's address to Immigration officer for delivering my PR card. Then my friend can post PR card to my country. I am wondering if i) I can enter in Mar-16 with PR card which my friend sent by post ii) generally is it a good practice?

its just a global system update. nothing related to PPR or medical.

Yup i Concur...Many guys in WhatsApp Group also confirmed that they too received Home Address Update.

Hi Everyone

I am in US (out of status now) applied for FSW on Nov.28th 2014 only communication I received till date acknowledgement letter with file number on February 17th 2015.

VISA office listed on my file is New Delhi.

Looking at processing time for NDVO its 12 months and its almost 8 months for my application and I haven't got request for PCC or anything online status shows in process.

Should I send email to visa office for update or its normal and it takes this long to get reply?

Even in my ecas also 2 addresses are reflecting. 1 of consultant and another is mine
Seniors, pls suggest if this is normal. Has anyone who got DM and PPR in the past have faced the same situation.

Sorry for being late... Am happy to update that I got decision made status updated on my ecas yesterday.

Timelines updated on the left. Am still to get PPR email, hope all is positive.

I feel like history is repeating. Similar kind of updates happened in Feb-March and PPRs followed afterwards.

I hope same happens now.

The address update doesn't happen for all. I guess if happens when Security check is updated.

I join with u...that the address update did not happen for all. One of my friends ECAS does not show the home address update...it just remains the same as it was in the previous days...like only consultancy address. But he had already recd MR two weeks before.

But for me it shows address update from today morning. I did not get MR so far , May 2014 applicant.I also do think that it may have an indication that security check updated....so lets pray and hope for the best...

Hey,
Finally landed at Calgary International Airport on 21st July 1330hrs. Immigration was a breeze so do customs. The time taken was mainly in queue. By 4pm we were out of Airport and in an hour at our hotel booked online in advance. Got an accommodation too today.
Got final line update also today.
Hope everyone got their update sooner.
