re entry visa to canada

hi,i'm working as a live-in caregiver with the valid working permit.i am planning to go to my country for my vacation.i have multiple visa re entry in canada but it was on my old passport.i have renewed my passport already.i emailed cic,and advised to get a new visa,then i phoned the call center cic,and advised me not to get a new visa instead i have to bring my old passport,with the new one and show this to immigration officer in coming back here to canada..its confusing..i really need your advise pls..thank you so much.

In behalf of my sister in-law who is very confused right now regarding re-entry visa, I would like to ask it here:
She wants to go home because her father passed away, she was an open permit already and will expire on April 2016. But because her multiple visa will expire on June 26, 2012, she is confused if she still need to apply for re-entry visa, and one more thing is that her multiple visa was on her old passport for she renewed her passport before submission of her PR. My question is- Can she still use her multiple re-entry visa even if it is in her old passport and soon to expire? She is planning to come back on june 15, 2012.

The re-entry visa that was stamped in her old passport is still valid until june 26,2012 just bring the old passport and show it to the border officer at the airport together with her open work permit and letter from the employer when she comes back. if she wants to stay more than the validity period of her re-entry visa then she will need to apply a new one..

Hello job_seeker worry rin ako about sa re- entry visa ko mag eexpire n siya ng june 2012 pti work permit ko mag eexpire nrin ng july tanong ko , kailangan ko bang i extend work permit khit n nakapg pasa nko ng OWP/PR application ko nito lang April? kailangan ko rin bang i renew re entry visa ko pra sa legal status ko dito sa canada ... nkalgay ksi s nbasa ko sa OWP di n kailangan mag extend ng WP khit n mag expire basta naipasa na ang OWP/PR provided n nagwowork kprin s current employer as Live in caregiver kung ok na di na iextend ang WP, how about sa re entry visa n mag eexpire na this june ?
