@wstrn24 yeah that is right, it is taking RCMP long to process. Our took about 2 weeks for RCMP to process and mail it out. Possibly another week and half , for the mail to physically reach and an update to be reflected on the file.
I emailed RCMP to see if they have forwarded to IRCC in Sydney. They said Mine are still in process and can't say when they will be completed. The email response seemed pretty generic. Name and DOB written in bold letters. But I guess they are busy with the volumes of requests.

So IRCC email you to say it's been received?

Send them a note after another week or 2. The first reply, I got was generic too.

What happens if you get a fingerprint request while you are outside the country?. I submitted my application a few months ago and got AOR, but I might need to travel back to my home country and stay there for a few months, I’m just worried about getting a FP request while I’m out of the country.

You have 90 days to fulfil the finger print request. I would give a bit of time - about 3 weeks prior to make sure they are received in time. So basically I would say you can pretty safely be out of the country for about 2.5 months after you receive the FP request, but then would have to return to get them done or contact IRCC through webform alerting them of your absence.

I had requested it to be sent to IRCC. Ircc has received it. There has been some delay given the volume of fingerprint requests coming.
How we can ask them to send directly it to IRCC ? Wat should I upload there in the portal if they send it directly to IRCC.how u came to know that IRCC received it?

@Philly898 You don't have to be in Canada to submit fingerprints. RCMP has accredited agencies that you can contact, and they will facilitate the process. Check this agency out: https://www.commissionaires-ottawa....round-screening/international-fingerprinting/

Just read 4 pages of the forum and still could not get a general idea about, how much time is it taking currently for FP.
I got FP done on 16 march
Shall update here once i receive.
Requesting earlier folks to update as well .
Good luck..
I was requested to supply fingerprints on 25th Feb. I emailed RCMP 2weeks ago. I was informed that the request for prints was extremely busy and report would be sent when processed to IRCC. This Morning I called IRCC, I spoke to an agent who informed me that No results appear on my file, but they are also running behind with updating client files. I am considering re-emailing RCMP to ascertain if they have sent the report to IRCC
