Tests are very slow right now, it seems. You can always ask or webform them requesting confirmation that they received the FP. Actually, it is good if you do it... to be on the safe side.

I have an outstanding charge(domestic, summary offence) and received FP request on March 8. I emailed the Vancouver office and was informed to proceed with having my FP done. I have requested the Crown to withdraw my charge but our meeting is on March 29 and my next court date is in late April. Should I do the FP now or wait till my charge is withdrawn? I have 90 days to submit the FP. I know this is more like a question to the immigration lawyer but any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have received a FP request for both myself and Spouse . Where is everyone taking the FP done? RCMP or the fingerprint agency , which is easier .
any names for the agency that you have visited in Toronto area.

I just did my fingerprints today. I was told to wait 3 weeks before contact RCMP or citizenship office to see if they have received the result.

@wstrn24 yeah that is right, it is taking RCMP long to process. Our took about 2 weeks for RCMP to process and mail it out. Possibly another week and half , for the mail to physically reach and an update to be reflected on the file.

Yes, i sent them an email. They replied saying they haven’t processed yet and cannot provide the timeline when it would be completed.

@peedvar @Owdtrev RCMP has been pretty prompt with their respomses and did confirm, the fingerprints were processed and sent on Mar 03. We did ours on Feb 19.

That information is available in the acknowledgement that you received after the fingerprint was done.

I have seen most of the Toronto Feb,2020 applicatns got FP request in feb/march 2021

The only way to check is by sending an email to CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. Mention your DCN, name and DOB which the agency would have given you.
