I'm guessing they found a match for dumplinedumpline said:I can guarantee you it is not going to be 3 business days. It is referring to preliminary check that is no more than a search from their data base. For Fingerprint, it takes 2-3 weeks. I am currently waiting for it and this is the third week.

It was $45 ($40 + tax).
It takes 20 mins person, regardless of their application. So if you are planning to drop in, please do so in the morning. Lunch hour gets crowded and it only takes a few people in line to waste your whole day.
They will need your ID and the actual request letter sent by CIC. You will have a chance to double check everything before going forward.

Turns out they got my address wrong with one digit. It was sent back to Ottawa and they are re-sending it now.kryt0n said:I'm guessing they found a match for dumpline
