Well, I think the worst happened to me.

I had 470 yesterday. So no ITA. Now, TODAY I got my CELPIP re-evaluation making my score to 473 (10,10,10,1) Celpip). BU as I said before my birthday is the 20th Oct. So I was soooooo close but not there.

I am done with this now. I don't think the score will come below 470. Anyone who is trying or thinking of doing an English test or french or anything DO IT NOW. I missed it by a 24-hour difference. Good luck to all of you out there. Thank you for all your advice.
You never know, there might just be a B2B draw before the year runs out so even if you lose points due to age (which isn't a good thing) you might still be in. I empathize with you wholeheartedly.

I don't know whether you know the application CanPR. But it states that next draw will be between 468 and 470 so keep your hopes up brother

I know that, but by that logic. You say that all of the 471 candidates are people who improved their scores and no one was added newly to the pool as the previous 4200 draw cleared all the 471 and higher candidates based on the numbers IRCC are publishing.
however, this is cant be true as groups such as 461-470 saw no decrease in numbers. So where are we justifying this addition of profiles if the cut off is in september?
Let me tell you a possible scenario, 4200 were drawn with a cut off of March in the last draw. Numbers published by IRCC indicated that ALL 471 and higher were cleared at that point (which is not true). This draw of 4500 saw a cut off of september, so all i can think is, its a continuity of the previous draw and there are still people at 471. Therefore why is IRCC saying that there is no more candidates at that target score? Numbers and dates clearly show that there still are up to this day with 471 score.
Honestly, I'm unable to follow your logic. It doesn't make sense.

1. The numbers in the 461-470 didn't reduced because at the same time NEW PEOPLE were added to that range as well, just like the 471-480. No one here is saying the vast majority of new people in the 471-480 are old 461-470 candidates.
2. I don't get your "numbers published by IRCC indicated that ALL 471 were cleared". There's ZERO indication of that. You're just guessing your presumptions (or hopes) are facts. There's absolutely no data to back what you're saying. The tie-brake was March, the draw happened in September. Also, the pool was refilled during the 2 week period, with new candidates and candidates that upgraded their profiles.

Seriously, if you really wish to continue supporting the crazy idea that Express Entry is being corrupted by IRCC, and that half of the profiles in the pool are fake profiles, go ahead. But, I would highly recommend you to relax for 2 days, and then try to revisit your arguments.

Hello everyone.

I just got my ECA report from WES and their evaluation was: "Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)"... what does that mean?
If I'm going to start an FSW application, which of the following am I going to put in the "highest level of education" part? Is it "Secondar diploma" or "Two-year program at a university"?

I hope someone can help me. Thank you very much!

Something quite similar happened to me as well.
Back in March, I was sitting (since January) at 469, already with maximum points for English. At that time, I attempt TCF on March 9th. When you do TCF, you know your Reading/Listening scores right away (but you can't add them to your profile until you get the final report with the Speaking/Writing scores). So, on March 9th I knew I would be jumping from 469 to 475, due to my Listening/Reading scores. Then, on March 18th the whole CEC/PNP nightmare started. On March 19th, I received my TCF report. 1 damn day later.
After that, I lived day-after-day waiting for the next draw, and hoping for the PNP/CEC trend to stop. Unfortunately, on June I turned 31, and lost THE EXACT 6 points I earned from the TCF, and got back to 469. I couldn't believe this was happening to me.

Telling you all this because I know EXACTLY what you're going through. I experienced the exact same thing. Man, it's infuriating. Yet, as I always do here, I would highly recommend you to take a look at TCF, specially if you're native language has latim as its base (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian...). You would be surprised of how many points you can score in the Reading/Listening sections of the TCF with just 2-3 months of intense french studies.
Don't give up man. It's feasible! I did it, and even after all of that, I received my ITA sitting at 508 points (sure, it took me more than just 3 months; around 6-7 months, but I believe you only need a few 3-4 extra points, so 2-3 months is more than enough). Think about it. Don't give up.

A CRS of 508? Wow, bro. Well done. What did you do to get it up to that? Perhaps your experience will help others here.

Inspiring as always!!! Guys, don’t lose hope... do not!

One of my friends received ITA day before yesterday... he boosted his score with french.. apparently he was secretly learning it for about 7-8 months.. and before then the only french lesson he had was in primary school. I genuinely thought he was never getting it cause his score was 450.

Don’t be defeated!!

Hi all. I already submitted my Express Entry application under PRIMARY NOC 6221. (Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade) Now I am just having some doubts if my NOC Match % is not enough.

Here are the details on my reference letter: ·

1. Worked in the Gas Turbine Aftermarket and Services sector for both Heavy Duty Power Generation and Offshore Oil & Gas filtration applications.
2. Worked in an engineering team to help in assessing, recommending and assisting the selection of appropriate solutions to new and existing customers from a technical perspective.
3. Develop and maintain technical product and knowledge across the product portfolio.
4. Providing sales and commercial team with technical studies and support to ensure the customer’s assets were protected with the correct filtration solution for the environment they were operating.
5. Liaison with Design Engineers, Drawing Office, QA, Suppliers & Customers, Production.
6. Creation of products using ERP systems & BOM creation, product cost out management and implementation & discussions with global manufacturers.
7. Reducing the backlog of Engineer Change Requests (ECR) related to filtration products.
8. Studying competitors’ activities and develop an awareness of latest products and technologies.
9. Developing sales and other material for new and existing clients to illustrate benefits of various filtration solutions.

Would really appreciate if anyone would have a look and let me know what you think!

Thanks for all the encouraging thoughts from all of you. I was so down yesterday. I am thinking about learning french too. I will have 468 for another year for sure. So I think I might have a chance to get a few points from french in the meantime. My worry is I have never learned french any time in my life. So it will be a tough battle.

Guys. Got my OINP NOI.

My two years' Hard work, positivity, determination, and everything seems to have paid off
Cannot believe it really but yes, it is right there.

CRS - 467
Tech Draw
NOC 2173

I have motivated/been motivating a lot of people but was really waiting for my day to arrive. My friends got ITA, colleagues got ITA, members in FB/Whatsapp/CanadaVisa forums/other channels got ITAs, and everyone around me talking about immigration. I was like - God is cruel

Lost all hopes and almost unfollowed most of the pages/channels/news about immigration and went on with my office work.

Yesterday, while I was replying to Airtel (Indian network service provider) about a payment issue, I got an email stating that some changes were made in my profile.

I thot it is some usual system-related maintenance and did not even bother to look at it. Later, Nithin Sharma (a member here) called me to check my profile

I logged into CIC portal (anxiously) -> keyed in the credentials -> new message waiting -> boom, it is the PNP NOI from Ontario

Really not prepared or not even expecting it. Discussed with few people about student visa and even wrote IELTS exam today (to score CLB 10 in other modules). I booked IELTS a month ago and the NOI came just a day before my IELTS exam. But will now drop all those plans and proceed cautiously with this OINP route.

This is really one of the best surprises of my life and will never forget this moment.
Lesson - pls do not lose hope in life. If your destiny is North America, even god cannot stop you. Your hard work will pay for sure, but maybe after a little bit of time.

Yes, I was thinking of you when I first saw the tech draw. I am happy for you. Thank you for having been spreading the positivity.

It's worth it. And you don't need to be fluent to gain some extra points.
