That FSW regular draws is even up for discussion this early is good omen, whatever happens tomorrow. Was thinking no chance till next year, or no chance for regular fsw draws forever.
Wow.... So the chance of an all-program draw tomorrow is really high. They'd better do that, otherwise, they might have accidentally messed up a lot of PNP applications. So my application is currently with OINP. Yesterday morning eastern time, I got a mail from them saying my application is incomplete. The reason given was that my express entry profile isn't valid anymore. I immediately checked the profile, and it was all there and well. The letter went on to say that this could happen when an ITA has been issued to the profile.
This glitchy FSW draw might be a potential reason. Maybe they pressed the wrong button and everyone who would've got an ITA yesterday with 4,200 invites had their profiles removed from the system momentarily?
I replied to OINP with a screenshot of my profile confirming I haven't got an ITA. I hope they consider it. If not, it'll be some extreme dark humour in my life if there's no all programs' draw tomorrow.Wow.... So the chance of an all-program draw tomorrow is really high. When did you submit your OINP application? Maybe they will nominate you this week or they could have just randomly checked your EE profile validity.I replied to OINP with a screenshot of my profile confirming I haven't got an ITA. Submitted it on September 5th, not in assessment yet. Yeah, it could be a number of reasons. My express entry profile is valid till October 7th, so if this error turned up, there has to be some weird glitch somewhere. When did you submit your OINP application? Well, But I still wish you to receive your ITA tomorrow, and get your PNP application cancelled for good.I replied to OINP with a screenshot of my profile confirming I haven't got an ITA. I do have a theory. Last year, around September/October we saw the huge spike on the CRS score, when the score jumped from 450 to 470 in a matter of 5-6 weeks. If this is true, although I would be elated, what's more surprising is the addition of candidates (nearly 3k) to the pool in less than 2 weeks. The other ranges (450 to 460 or the 460 to 470) has not seen much spike.
Not sure from where only these dudes enter the pool in large numbers when people everywhere have difficulties in writing IELTS, Getting their ECAs done.
In two weeks, amid this pandemic, also when most IELTS centers in US are still closed, who only are those dudes getting into the pool with such high scores
Your thwrotries are good. You seem experienced in this journey. Anyways, do you think regular fsw draws are here to stay?I do have a theory. Last year, around September/October we saw the huge spike on the CRS score, when the score jumped from 450 to 470 in a matter of 5-6 weeks.
I believe this is due to the fact that college programs usually start in September. That means many students, 2 years later, also get their certificates/diplomas around that time, and consequently, increase their scores. So, the increase is not related to people being added to the pool, but actually jumping from 440-450 to 470-480 due to Canadian credentials.
About IELTS/WES, I definitely don't think people are facing problems to get access to these services. On contrary, on Brazilian forums people are claiming that their WES were ready in less than 2 weeks after submitting the documentation (mine took almost 3 months between November/2019 and January/2020!!!). Also, even though I live on the third most COVID-19 affected country on the planet, I can write IELTS/TCF anytime I want. In fact, I passed the TCF about 4 weeks ago, zero effort to get a test date here.
I would like to. But the majority of VACs remain closed, so I'm not sure. Trying to predict IRCC nowadays is a waste of time. It's impossible to really know what they're planning.Your thwrotries are good. You seem experienced in this journey. Anyways, do you think regular fsw draws are here to stay?
What happened yesterday? They predict mostly based on the trends. Few days back they predicted 'PNP Only' and now because of yesterday's incident they have changed their prediction. They go wrong too.
