FYI, the last bit on Native English speakers struggling to get a 7.0 ain't true - i got an 8 in Writing on my first attempt (not a native speaker obviously). Having said that, I would add that the way they score it ain't easy. It's pretty strict.IELTS as the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT (que horror) factor whether someone gets an ITA or not? Not even PNP nomination? Or family ties? Or education?
CLB 9 is NOT an easy hurdle to overcome FYI. Even native English speakers fail to get a 7.0 on Writing.
