I think the highlighted understanding is correct... I made a EE profile(like you did) and selected ON as a province of choice(since I am living/working here), after a few days around 10-12 days later I received the NOI from OINP.
Once you accept this NOI thats where you have to submit your application, you will be asked to provide "Intent to Reside in Ontario document"

Refer statement on Page1: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/pr...oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps_010517.pdf
Thanks
When we say mentioning either Ontario / All Provinces as province of choice in EE profile, does this mean an either-or situation OR mentioning other provinces along with ON is still okay? I had mentioned few other provinces as well along with ON in EE.

Wake up!! This thread is to look forward to next draw with hope which would be 94th.
still wont make sense to the first timer...not everyone walks with riddles...if its 93rd draw then call it the same. period. no offence

Hi , i've got the following doubt, hope somebody can give some feedback:

If I got my PR visa stamped on passport but for any reason I'm not able to travel to Canada before the expire date of this visa, Must I make the whole process again? Take part in CIC draw , receive ITA again,............, etc?
Can I explain to CIC that I need more time and ask for an extension? (I suppose i shall have to do medical exams again and renew passport)
I'm confident I will get IELTS score in the coming months and thus ITA but I won't be able to do landing in Canada until November 2019 as I need to close some issues in my current country of residence

Thank you for replies andsorry about long entry :)

You don't have to stay in Canada for long, you can just land there, do all formalities and go back to your homeland after a week! You can give a family or friend's address to deliver your PR card and tell them to courier back to you. That's All! You can go back after a year whenever you feel you are ready. Many applicants have done this already, no issues at all.

Good Luck!

First from what you wrote you are yet to create a profile...First you have to create the profile then you have get the score upto ITA level...Let us say you get the ITA in 3 months ..From there it will take min 5-6 months to get the visa...Delays can happen with delay in document submission..From Visa date you have another 6 months to land..so at best case scenario you have almost until nov 2019..I seriously dont think they will give an extension..Hve you checkedd your CRS giving CLB 9...
