Please can somebody check our IELTS. Is this enough for a CLB 9?
Main applicant:
Listening 9
Reading 8.5
Writing 7.5
Speaking 9

Spouse:
Listening 8.5
Reading 9
Writing 7
Speaking 8.5

Is this enough to get maximum points for both applicants?

Yes

Yours is overall CLB 10, your spouse is almost at 10 (she would need 7.5 in writing to be 10) so she has CLB 10 10 9 10

Primary Applicant gets maximum points for CLB 10 or more and Spouse gets maximum points for CLB 9 or more.

My profile was created in August 2017 with CRS 427. In January, because of my birthday it came down to 421. But now, after IELTS re-attempt and sibling reference it became 439. So, will an update impact the tie breaking rule?
As far as I know, only the profile creation date is taken into account for the tie breaker rule

Hi guys
Finally after 8 unsuccessful attempts I achieved desired score i.e. LRWS 8.5,9,7,7. But I have a doubt I worked in an MNC company for five years (2011-2016) n left job in May 2016 because of family issues. At present I m unemployed only my husband is working, but he also somehow missed CLB 9 everytime
In this whole scenario can I become the prime applicant now as my CRS is now 469 I am just in confusion whether my last two years of unemployment would create any problem in future
Please guide me

Yes, you can. The employment has to be for the said period in last 10 years. Check for correct NOC code. Your score is fine to get an ITA in the next draw. Make sure you create a profile by Tuesday. The unemployment will not be an issue as long as you are able to get the reference letter and other related documents such as pay stubs, Statements, etc

Thanks a lot
I have already created my EE profile last year in November would it be ok to just update it with new IELTS score or have to create a new profile
Also I have everything ready with me regarding work experience documents except a reference letter from my employer as they are denying to give it now so can I go for statutory declaration

Hi All,

My current score is 430, dropped 5 points on my 30th Birthday recently. I took IELTS again to improve the score, and it did. If I now calculate through CRS it comes to 466. Given the current cut-off trend I am sure ITA will surely come. But I am in two minds whether to update my score or not yet. There are a couple of things I need to sort out if I get an ITA.

1) Proof of funds - I don't have it in cash as I invested mine in property which is now hard to liquidate. I am thinking of borrowing it from dad and get a gift deed affidavit.
2) PCC - Lived in 5 countries in last 10 years, while getting PCC from 2 countries is easy, the other three would take a minimum of 2 months.

What do you guys suggest, do you think I should go ahead and update my profile?

Regards,
Praveen
