Hi All,

My current score is 430, dropped 5 points on my 30th Birthday recently. I took IELTS again to improve the score, and it did. If I now calculate through CRS it comes to 466. Given the current cut-off trend I am sure ITA will surely come. But I am in two minds whether to update my score or not yet. There are a couple of things I need to sort out if I get an ITA.

1) Proof of funds - I don't have it in cash as I invested mine in property which is now hard to liquidate. I am thinking of borrowing it from dad and get a gift deed affidavit.
2) PCC - Lived in 5 countries in last 10 years, while getting PCC from 2 countries is easy, the other three would take a minimum of 2 months.

What do you guys suggest, do you think I should go ahead and update my profile?

Hi guys! I stand at 450 points right now with one year (14 months) of work experience. I'm a government employee and can't figure out the right noc. I thought IELTS would solve all the problems. When I filled my post ITA forms, there was a special form for govt employees/member of armed forces. Sorry I don't remember it now. You are FG employee but what is your job title by the way? I will see if I can find its Canadian counterpart, once you tell me your job title.

Yes Bro.

then you'll need all five PCCs as others have mentioned. Worst case, proof that you have tried to obtain a PCC for certain countries and the task has been undoable. Fact is you need to be patient is all (tough I know).

PCC is a touchy subject for IRCC and it's a document where they will reject your application immediately if they deem your explanation/efforts/the document itself to be suspicious or have incorrect information; you won't even get a chance to explain yourself unless in the rare event, they think they want an explanation.

Yes Bro.

I think you should first get everything ready bro. I had everything ready (including 3 police certificates from 3 countries). But I made a big mistake by not maintaining my salary account.
I received ITA and the letter of Interest from Ontario, but my bank account statement was just a mess. I did not upload the documents and my ITA as well as interest letter from Ontario expired.
I did not research about the financial requirements before receiving ITA, and lost it eventually.
You should get the money transferred to your account asap and keep it there for at least 6 months. The gift deed will hopefully do. Just get everything ready before you enter the pool.

I have already created my EE profile last year in November would it be ok to just update it with new IELTS score or have to create a new profile
Also I have everything ready with me regarding work experience documents except a reference letter from my employer as they are denying to give it now so can I go for statutory declaration

Yes just update the old EE profile. I recently did and the date of submission did not change.

Folks don't get get disheartened IRCC has be on 3500 consistently either or frequent draw on 3-4 occasions to meet this year target ..they won't be able to hold it 440+ for so long...they will go on shopping spree sooner or later ..

so just be ready ...however if May has two draws then it will be 2 per month from now on( post IELTS Result on case 5 Wednesday in a month)...but not less than 3500 ...cheers

I gave up......sometimes rather than pushing against the winds it's best I adjust my sails. I really wanted to have an application in by latest June this year but at 413 it's not looking very promising so I'm not even gonna emwaste anymore time, money and effort.......if it happens sobeit!
