Hi All,
Please check my logic here.
Draw #78 Lowest CRS score 439. And tie break is Oct, 19 , 2017.
( Meaning anything above 439 on Oct,19,2017 has been invited correct ?).

But...
Draw #83 lowest CRS score 442. And tie break is May,29, 2017.
( what about draw #78 ???)

I'm concluding that some exceptions exsit. Draw system is not so mechanical or... any inputs?

The tie breaker rule takes into account your profile creation date.

For example, if I had created my profile on May 15th, 2017 with CRS 405 and increased my CRS score to 441 on April 15th, 2018, I would have got my ITA yesterday even if the tie breaker date was June 1, 2017.

On 17th July you got the ITA. So when did you submit all the documents. Can you please please share the timeline of background check like for how long you were in ip1 and then when did you move to ip2?

Hello All,

I received my ITA in yesterday's draw. I have the following queries:

1. In the ITA confirmation pdf, it is mentioned 'Obtain the documents which you must submit with your application (see “checklist” for details)'- Where can I find this "Checklist".
2. When I click on "Continue Application", it takes me to fill few forms. What happens next if I fill those forms?
3. Where do I upload my documents?

Can anyone please walk me through the Post-ITA steps.

Thanks in advance!

you need to fill all those forms ,which includes : dependent (children), travel history last ten years and so on.. once you fill it up completely it will take you to the documents list where we need to upload documents.

I mysteriously received an ITA in yesterday's draw despite having a CRS score of only 431. Could this be an error? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Should I:

1. Submit my application and hope for the best.
OR
2. Call CIC and let them know the error.

Any advice given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any updates?

I got following question in both mine and my spouse's Travel History form.

"Has <candidate>, and if applicable, <candidate>'s family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. "

So, in my travel history form do I have to include my spouse's travel history log? And do i have to do the same for spouse's form?

Login your account and check the profile submission time. It is UTC time. If the submission time is before the draw time then you should get it, otherwise you gotta wait couple of weeks. For your reference draw time is-
Date and time of round: April 25, 2018 at 12:40:15 UTC

Good luck!

I received the ITA, thank you for the guidance

Thanks :)

No ITA for me today, still waiting for the certificate number.

I decided to learn because of CIC, otherwise I'd stay in the pool forever.

Took me around 15 months of dedicated study before the exam, luckily there are a lot of apps today to help you improve the 4 aspects of the test.
Wow! Then I’m sure you are getting it in the next round! All the best!

Oh BTW, when you say 15 months dedicated, do you mean full time?

I mean how many hours?

And can you suggest some apps that I can learn from?

asking this coz I have no way to have immersed learning in order to gain this competency..

Did you learn in just from apps is did you attend classes some where?

I know too many questions but greatly appreciate any response when you find time :)

I am also guessing you would have answered this somewhere else.. if you point me there it’ll be great too

Hello everyone,

I have changed my NOC post ITA. Can you please provide me with a reason to mention the same in LOE. I have written, "After observing my reference letter, I feel this NOC is more in line with my job duties". Please let me know if you have even better explanation.

Please let me know if there are any errors. I do not have a good vocabulary.

Thanks.
