Hello guys,

Is it mandatory to include all work history in the Express Entry profile? Is it OK to include only work history that is relevant to the EE? My partner has a Canadian work experience in two different positions, which both of them are considered as skilled. However, one of his jobs ended up for him very badly. He quit on bad terms because he did not do that job and worked in a different job/position with a same company, which is not skilled. He was just given a title that was in the skilled category. His current job is in the skilled category and he got it everything by himself so there are should not be any problem if he gets invited to obtain all letters including job duties. Please advice me and my partner what to do. He wants to delete some of his work history in his profile and leave his current job, which is skilled. If he deletes his other job then his points will drop, but again, if he gets selected it will be almost impossible to get letters from his previous employer which ended for him kinda badly. Please advice what is the best option for him?

You will have to provide those experience letters against which you have earned CRS points. Usually, if you have a continuous job of 4-5 years recently, just show that. no need to go beyond that.

If you accept the NOI, you will not be considered under next rounds of invitation for direct entries.

By accept u mean submitting the application or getting approved?

(I know its naive question, but just want to be double sure) (y)

Thank you, but his concerned that he will not be able to provide a job/employment letter, including duties.... This is so sad, but it is true. Now he wants to delete that work experience that he ended up with bad term, which was for about 6 months and leave the current experience which is almost 5 months. Please advice.

We have accepted NOI from Ontario too....were still hoping for a direct ITA....from all that i read on the thread and otherwise i thought we were still eligible for direct ITA....is that not so? I was under the impression that the 1500 CAD is non refundable but you are still eligible for direct ITA untill and unless you accept the nomination and gain the 600 points....anyone with more knowledge/experience please help.... @abhishek_89

Is he the primary applicant?
So you mean, now he has only 11 months of experience to show in total?

Read following:

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/pr...oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps_010517.pdf

if you have accepted the nomination and submitted all of your documents for Ontario's nomination process, then you can not get ITA through direct entry.

Please ready the pdf in detail.

Please do not get confused. If you have received the NOI from Ontario. It is good for you. You have 45 calendar days to submit your application so that they can access your profile and give you 600 points. If you think, you will get a direct invitation in next round of invitation, then you can hold on to that NOI.

I meant submitting the application.
I don't think so..
Read the below section from the pdf:

5.5 Maintaining a Valid Express Entry Profile You must maintain a valid profile in the Express Entry system from the time of application until the time of nomination. If you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) while your application is being processed by the OINP, your profile will no longer be available in the Express Entry system for nomination. You must advise the OINP of your intention to:  reject the ITA issued by IRCC and request that the OINP continue to process your application, or  withdraw your application to the OINP. If you reject the ITA, you must provide the OINP with a screenshot showing that you have rejected the ITA from IRCC. If you wish to withdraw your application, please see the instructions in section 5.7

This clearly states even if OINP application is under process you can still receive ITA from IRCC
