For anyone wondering why tie breaker was May in the last draw, this is an example.Hello folks,
Finally, I was able to get the desired IELTS score. This was my second attempt and below are my scores:
L - 9
R - 8.5
W - 7
S - 7
My spouse improved her scores too
With the new scores, my CRS has jumped to 442 from 368. Thanks to all seniors and fellow members for your suggestions and sharing your success stories.
I created my profile on 11th Feb 2018 and planning to update it with latest IELTS scores. So, instead of waiting for the TRF report, can I just go ahead and update the scores and also the TRF number?
Can someone please validate my interpretation of TRF number format?
for ex. 17IN123456SURG001G
Where, 17IN - Year and Country code
123456 - Candidate Number
SUR - 3 char of Surname
G - 1st char of Given Name
001G - Centre Number & General Module
Also, do I have any chance to get the ITA in next draw on 20th Feb since my profile got created recently?
My IELTS scores are L:8, R:8.5, W:7.5, S:7.5 with CRS of 420. If I perk up my score to the max CLB 10, how many additional points can I get? Appreciate your feedback. If you improve your IELTS score from L:8, R:7, S:7, W:6.5 to L:8, R:7, S::7, W:7, you can jump from below 413 to 442. It could be just a 0.5 score difference in IELTS.
hi there, could you please share your NOC and CRS score. thanksDear friends,
I am a newbie here. Can you please send me the sample letter for Letter of Intent to reside in Ontario. I received OINP for profile re-created on Jan 19th

Thank you..I think you can do this with TRF but not with ECA.
Based on the current EE pool intake averages, in 2 weeks with 3000 ITAs being issued even a 1 point increase to the CRS cut off looks far fetched till the CRS cut off reaches mid 430s. The worst I would assume is that the CRS cut off stays on the same CRS score, that is no increase nor decrease in the CRS cut off in subsequent draws owing to the large number of applicants stuck on these scores. Once it goes into the mid 430s, the cut off could hover up and down considering CIC continues with 3000 ITAs every 2 weeks and the average intake increases.Hi @abhishek_89
was just curious about a situation. Suppose we see the CRS cutoff increases by 1 or 2 points in any part of the fortnight drawing instead of decreasing. So, what does this mean both theoretically & practically? & will the early 430's will have any chance to get a direct ITA this year in that case without back to back draws?
3 points which is in listening 8.5 rest are already maxed out....My IELTS scores are L:8, R:8.5, W:7.5, S:7.5 with CRS of 420. If I perk up my score to the max CLB 10, how many additional points can I get? Appreciate your feedback.
OINP does not reveal that. Previously when they sent NOIs in Jan, there were applicants in the CRS range who mentioned they did not get the NOI.Hi
Hi @abhishek_89 does this mean that all in the CrS range of 442-435 who created their profile between 1st Jan and 8th Feb have got the invite? Or was it sent only to specific NOCs
