I am trying to make you understand that the CRS 423 mentioned in the example is incorrect. I will try to break the below comment into smaller chunks so that its easy for you to understand.Request you to see the example and understand it.
"The Express Entry system ranks candidates in the pool by their CRS score. In case of a CRS tie, the system will then rank all tied candidates based on the date and time that they submitted their profile."
"The Express Entry system ranks candidates in the pool by their CRS score." - which means the 1st ranked applicant will have higher CRS score than the 2nd ranked applicant and the 2nd ranked applicant will have higher CRS score than the 3rd ranked applicant and so on.
"In case of a CRS tie, the system will then rank all tied candidates based on the date and time that they submitted their profile." - CRS tie means more than 1 applicant is having the same CRS score. Only in case of such situations (CRS tie), the system will rank only the tied candidates (applicants stuck on the same CRS score) based on profile creation date/time.
I hope you understand. I cannot explain it in a more simpler way than this.
