Hey guys,

I was wondering if you might know the answer for two of my questions?

1. If I have had only just created my profile for EE a week ago or so and in the next ITA draw round I have enough score that fullfills the minimum score requirement, would my application automatically be selected? Or does ITAs are only offered after your profile is online for a while or maybe for other reasons?

2. Once an ITA is received, does the information in regards to the next steps i.e.: documents to be provided, is tailored accordingly to your profile? Or is it more like an automatic message with a standard list?

Thanks for your time,
-Matheus

With regards to your first question, Same is the case with me. I created my profile on 21 October 2017. I am expecting that I will receive an ITA (My score being somewhere in the same range). However, some senior can enlighten us both.

I cannot your second question since we are in the same boat.

Best of luck

Hi guys, I submitted my profile on 28th Oct and my EE profile shows a "transmitted" EE application. Am I to understand that I am in the pool and am eligible to get into the draw today?

it's 9:30 am in toronto.
praying for at least 10% incease for fsw quota.
I'm thirty something and it's the only way to get invitation for me
three-year plan with huge incremental increase is a dream.

but, if i update it now, will i get ITA in this draw? I dnt want to wait another 2 weeks.
Chances are less, but even if you get ITA, you have to decline and wait for 2 weeks, instead you can update now and take a chance. This is just what I think, I would have done if at your stage. But you should take your own decision..,,

Fellas,

What's the news from the Forum Frontier, all good?

Just logged in to wish everyone luck, today being the Draw Date with 3400 ITAs @ 428 CRS.

Be patient as the draw is near, so long!! :)

I have come up with the prediction for the 75th draw.

If it happens on:
Nov 01 - CRS 435 - ITAs 2832
Nov 02 - CRS 437 - ITAs 2858
Nov 03 - CRS 439 - ITAs 2860

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 2 CRS.

Please find below the CRS cut off on each date (in case the number of ITAs issued is more/less than the predicted ITA count):

Once you profile because active, usually takes around 24 hours from submission, you are in the pool and would be drawn if you meet the score requirements.

Once you receive ITA, content in your EE profile will be auto generated into your e-APR profile. You will also have to give some additional info. Based on this info you provide, you will receive the documents list where you need to upload all the documents.

Hope this answers your questions :)

Very very generally speaking, the process is:

ITA --> AOR --> Medicals passed --> IP1 --> N/A --> IP2 --> PPR
  • You receive your ITA, and you have 90 days to submit the full application
  • On submitting the full application, you receive an AOR or Acknowledgement of Receipt
  • Medical passed could take about 2 months, but recently its only been a month for some. It will say 'You have passed the medical'.
  • Background checks happen in two stages, on some forums they are labelled IP1 (in progress 1) and IP2 (in progress 2).
  • IP1 usually follows shortly after the medicals are passed, and should last a few days before the background check goes to not applicable again. The text I believe just says 'In progress'
  • This not applicable stage can last from a month to many months.
  • When the background check goes to 'We are processing your background check. We will contact you if we need further information', then you are in IP2.
  • After IP2 follows PPR, or Passport Request, which is the visa office asking for your passport so they can stamp it with something confirming your PR. At this stage you have been accepted.

*borrowed this information from elsewhere

I have a quick question - How does PPR work? Do I have to mail my passport or physically visit the visa office? I am currently in Canada
By the time I get ITA and pass the medical test and stuff, my passport will have less than 6 months of expiry date which is not acceptable. Do they check the expiry date too? or is this only applied when I do "landing?"

Hello Folks

Lets hope for a good draw with a gap down of 8-10 points irrespective of all predictions

Lets also hope for a substantial increase in immigration quota for economic streams

Good luck every one

Nice work !

However, i would like to ask if this analysis is after considering the hike in numbers or against the minimum target of 300k

I have not considered any increase in ITA's in this prediction. I have kept it around the 2800 mark.
