It's good to see so many point of views from the previous pages, keep them coming.

My ITA is literally in hold from past 1 year, courtesy :- IELTS Team. ;)
Hi,

Did you try getting a re-mark of your writing? I'm sure your score will jump significantly if you get that half a band.

Does anyone know selection of NOCs affect after PR? Maybe a stupid question, but one of my experience falls under two NOCs. One in Skill level Of and the other Skill level B. I am collecting Recommendation letters. So have to be choosy about words, as my HR wanted me to draft it for him.
Only worry is that once am in Canada, if job opportunities are more in the other NOC, will it affect me at all?
Thank you

¡muy bien, mi hermano!
I´m in. Habla muy poco español, pero I´d love to join :p

Muy bien. Mandame un mensaje privado con tu numero de whatsapp.

Sent you my phone number, but some others may be turned away if they like privacy.
Can we start a Discord channel instead? Same (even more) benefits of Whatsapp, with reasonable expectation of privacy.

No. You can work in any field as long as you can prove you can do it. :p

I plan to change career once in Canada as talking to a lifeless non-human makes me more delusional :D

If you want to have a group with privacy, I'd suggest Telegram, a more secured messaging platform than WhatsApp since your number will not be displayed (if giving out a phone number is an issue).

Telegram is not secured out of the box. The groups you create especially aren't secured. Only private chats are secured. And most people I know are registered on Telegram with their phone number, which defeats the entire purpose. For privacy I like Wire for personal chats as all conversations are secured out of the box, like Whatsapp but you don't need to give out your number. Cool handwriting options too :D

Discord is great for group chats.

You register with your number but you can share your nickname only. Telegram is more secured than WhatsApp, afaik. They introduced message encryption before WhatsApp implemented it, and since WhatsApp is already in Zuckerberg's network, so there is that. I have no Facebook account, guys.. :D

Haven't tried Discord app though. :)

Haha, same here. No Facebook. Well, one dummy account because Tinder. Telegram was the first app to implement encryption and self destructing messages, you're right. But like I said, you have to go out of the way to actually secure all conversations individually. When you log in, unless you make those changes, only private chats are secured. People tend to forget that. Telegram is also Russian owned, so I don't know if I would trust it any more than Zuckerberg Hehe. I do love Telegram though, as it gives me practically unlimited cloud storage which I use happily.

Try out Wire, maybe you'll like it. Although convincing all of your contacts to move would be quite a task I imagine. Also, it's a bit slow due to all that intense security and multiple encryption per message.

Actually this is my 4th profile created...
First one at 371
Second one at 398
Third one at 410
And now finally at 425
Waiting roughly since 2015

Just hoping it to fall below 400 ...so that all our friends are in:)

Aww..you've been in the pool for quite some time. Hats off for your patience, girl. I have been planning for Canada since 2013 but entered the pool only in March with 357 before I had my magic CRS at 408. ;)

Better suggest that to IRCC :D
I sincerely like to do, but, I recently hear many getting PPR's in less than 2 months and they reject for valid claims.
IRCC is doing it's best post APR :):). However a shoutout, "Come-on CIC get my friends an ITA, don't procrastinate biweekly draws please:rolleyes::rolleyes:"

Convincing my friends to switch to Telegram failed so I don't think I'd try another app. Well, the whole world loves Mr. Zuckerberg
