Well, going by a simple process of elimination we can definitely rule out point 1 above. Intelligent, insightful? Moi? Non.Yes, that 1:5 ratio is sooooo impressive. Show's two things:
1. Your posts very intelligent/relevant/ insightful/ relatable
And/or
2. You are much loved here
Either way, you are definitely very influencial on this forum - what Malcolm Gladwell in his book Tipping Point might clasify as a Maven-Connector.
lol no, they aren't working yet...Its 06:19 AM in Ottawa. Is there any instance when a draw has happened this early?
Oh I beg to differ. It's both 1 and 2.Well, going by a simple process of elimination we can definitely rule out point 1 above. Intelligent, insightful? Moi? Non.
So it must be number 2 then? Awww shucks guys..... you'll get me all embarrassed!
Hi there, unfortunately yes, you should do all 4 parts just like IELTS, test centres won't allow you to take just one or parts of the TEF Canada test. Hope you will pass soon, very best of luck to you!If we dint score clb 7 in any one skill in TEF exam and wish yo rewrite should we write all the four skills again as we do in ielts?
Not before 9 am mateIts 06:19 AM in Ottawa. Is there any instance when a draw has happened this early?
Thank you so much. Sometimes it's hard watching newbies show up here with 430s, knowing they are just passing through the thread while it will take us more than a year more to get over 400. It's nice to know that people I like and respect here don't consider us the crazy old folksAh! thats modest @tjsecondtry. U guys are experienced, mature and weathered for anything ahead. Ur conviction is a direction for many here.
Im one
Thanks. Yes my brother (we both sharing same mother or father) landed on 12th july, 2017 and I claimed points on 13th, July, 2017.I dont think that will be an issue as long as he is present. Others please correct me If I am wrong. You claimed your points only after your sibling landed there.
I know exactly what you mean. And if I was in their shoes I'm not sure I would be any different. I'd ask the same newbie questions and be gone as soon as that shiny PR arrived.Thank you so much. I don't know if anyone noticed my post about losing our IELTS paper results. I know I don't need this yet, but I would feel better if I knew what to ask IELTS to do to send electronic results to Ontario and EE. Is there an email address you have them sent to?Dear all,
Don't wait for an ITA to get all your documents.

Thank you for your input. I appreciate it! I'm an accountant with 10 years experience and planning to enroll when I arrive to get CPA designation and my husband is system administrator (IT). Since we have 2 small kids we would like for my husband to have a full time job and me working part time and attending classes but we'll see how it goes, currently we both have full time jobs...Yes Calgary and many parts of Alberta were the growth engine for Canada for many years as oil prices were increasing and especially above $100/barrel. The salaries were very high even without skills and many adults worked and the returned home to their families in other areas of the country monthly. Many people relocated to Alberta but have often returned to ON/BC when they were laid off. The real estate prices also went up dramatically due to demand. The oil prices have been low for 3-4 years so the layoffs and readjustment to a new normal has happened and the economy is no longer in decline and has started showing slightly positive signs. Alberta in general has a younger population and is still catching up in term of major infrastructure like schools/hospitals. There are less sales taxes than other provinces although they may have add a provincial sales tax at some point. Real estate is more affordable and there is plenty of availability at the moment. Calgary is very safe and is still relatively small at just over a million people. If you like the outdoors and sporting activities it is ideal. The big issue is what kind of employment are you looking for?
Naaaah! Neither!@shaun75 Yes, that 1:5 ratio is sooooo impressive. Show's two things:

I included a statement of "dual intent" with my student visa application. It would be really nice if I could get PR early, because tuition would be less. But I can't count on it.Hi All,
I've been lurking on the Ray of Hope forums for a month and I decided to finally post something . I'm REALLY hoping for a draw today. I have a score of 429 and I also have an acceptance letter from Conestoga for a program that starts in January. Ideally, I'd have liked to join college as a permanent resident. But I guess with the 6 month processing time, I'd be cutting things really fine (assuming things can still be cut really fine given my circumstances) if I do make it as a permanent resident.
Since the past few weeks, I've been playing with the idea that it would make sense to go on a student visa and change my visa to a Permanent Resident one once I land there. Is that possible? Does anyone else have any other suggestions about what course of action I can adopt given the way things are today?
Thanks
