Hi Guys, I've submitted my wife's(Primary applicant) profile and we've got the confirmation that we're in the pool. We have been given 455 points based on our eligibility and we're hoping to get ITA in next draw. However there's a situation(A pleasant one :)), we're going to have a baby by Jan end. Question is what to do after we receive the ITA? Go ahead and upload all forms, except the medical(Coz we can't get xray done, or let CIC know that we want to wait until later? A little unsure of what to do. Ideally, we'd like to have our baby here and then in Q1/Q2 move to Canada. Thanks for your kind suggestions.
Hi,

Congrats on the great news:). You actually do everything the normal way, including medicals. Your wife will go through all the medical tests except for the x-ray, so you will still have an upfront medical form for her. Just explain explain this in your LOE (post-ITA).

Wish you and your wife the best of luck.

My consultant says if you are applying for yourself and show a non-accompanying spouse and kids, your PR application will be refused. Is that true ?
That is total rubbish mate.

I am not an advocate for people having a non-accompanying spouse, as it maybe difficult to reunite and the application requirements are more or less the same, but IRCC will treat your application no differently to one who is being accompanied.

You need to leave this consultant before its too late. They are trying to scare you so that you apply through them.

Best of luck

Hi Andie!
There were 4K in the pool till 22nd June. Per day there are about 200 that are added. So until July 12th, that would add appx 4k more to the exiting base of 4K.
Therefore 8k...

I understand your calculation I just think there is no way that's the case!

I have been reading a lot of guys have received it?
That's what most of the guys here are saying :) I hope it's true.
I'm applying for PCC this week anyways whether there will be draw or not :D

If we get an ITA, Do we have to accept it right away or Is there a deadline?
You will have 90 days to decline it. and if you want to proceed with it. click on "Continue Application" and upload all your documents.

So if I click continue application, let's say after 2 weeks, will I have 90 days to submit the application or 90 days minus 2 weeks?

Any guesses on how much CRS will be this time guys ?
