Which interview?

Hello, I have just uploaded my EE profile and waiting for the next draw @ 428 CRS.
My residence is in Dubai and all my work experience is from Dubai, I will be going to Toronto next month on a visitor visa, hopefully after AOR. I intend to stay there during the entire process of my application and will apply for extension of my visit visa if need be.

My query is that though being a UAE resident, can I continue my application being in Canada. In an unlikely state, If I am called for interview, will I have to come back to Abu Dhabi or can it be done in Canada itself.

Thank you for kind help in answering my query

Well some unfortunate people do get called for interviews by the VO, if there are any concerns or clarifications needed.
I know of a couple of guys who were called for interviews, so I am just wondering, that if I do come to Canada on a visit visa, can I continue to pursue my application being there or do I need to do it only from my residence country.

IMO, your visitor visa has no real bearing on the processing of your Outland PR application. But you do need to keep your visitor visa valid - separately from the PR application - but that is only about being able to stay in Canada. Applying Outland while an applicant is in Canada allows the applicant the freedom to return to their home (or go anywhere else) while the application is in process without affecting the progress. If an applicant applies "Inland" and they leave Canada, and are not allowed to re-enter, the Inland application is forfeited.

But if your application is FSW Outland I do not see any issue for you to travel anywhere around the world as long as you are updating your address.

Hope you won't get an interview call. If you do get, at that time, you can ask CIC via email if it is possible for you to conduct the interview in Canada itself.

OR, if you want to be double sure, since you will be doing a long distance travel, suggest you ask this question directly to CIC under general inquiry, right away.

Good Luck.

So got success in 4th attempt, how much gap you suggest between two Ielts tests.
First 3 time I use to book the test immediately after test out of frustration. But for last attempt I took a gap of month and prepared. I feel listening is d easiest of all, writing some one told me u need to write 400 words to score 7& above and he was right as every time I use to write less than 300 and scored 7 once only. Speaking is all on u and reading was always confusing for me that too TFNG
Good luck

Writing more than 400 words to earn 7 or 7+ is not true.

You make some valid points about being proactive and not waiting for things to fall into our laps. But you've overlooked a major stumbling block that keeps people from achieving a higher score - age.

Consider my example - I've a Masters degree and CLB10 in IELTS but my CRS is a meagre 403. Why? Because I'm older than those who get 100 points just because they were born a decade after me ;)

My point is, it's not as simple as you think it is to increase CRS for some of us unless we do a PhD (atleast 4 years), learn French (atleast 1 year) or get an OINP (1500 CAD)

Thanks for listening to my rant ;) Good luck.
You don't need a PHD or French my friend. What you need is an educated younger wife with CLB10. Im probably the same age as you. I have a Masters as well as CLB 10. But see my score. Its the wife my friend. :)

I filed for my OINP last night (June 16, 2017). My current CRS is 413 and NOC 0213. The current status is submitted. How soon can I expect the process to get completed and I getting a PNP. Are there any quota / limits for 0213? Where can I find updates about limits of different NOC?

For me it came true, there is no hard and fast rule by the way, 3 attempts my writing score was 7/6.5/6.5 and never wrote more than 300 words, last attempt i wrote 400 words and hit 7.5.

Pls give your inputs in the forum rather than writing it is not true
It means you can't state your ideas in minimum words, so in your case it worked.

I've achieved 7 Bands in Writing twice. Both times, my essay wasn't more than 260 words long.

if you can afford $240 for another IELTS, I would recommend you taking it. This way you will have some control over the outcome rather than being in destiny's hands.
Yeah it's not the money that's the issue but rather the length of time it takes to book and wait for results.. I'm not a patient man :)
