Hi Seniors,
I am in the process of getting my POF sorted. ill be getting the whole amount from my mom as a gift. can i put this cash in a 6 month FD? or should the maturity date be less than 6 months?

Yes understood. il be arranging for a gift deed and other relevant affidavits. my question is whether a 6 month FD is too long as cash is not liquid for 6 months, or should i just go for a 3 month FD?

to be on a safer note, just keep the money in your account , not as FD , because u wont be able to withdraw cash from money for some restricted time correct?

just now I have updated my IELTS result when I found out my agent has not done it even when I told him to on saturday! I am so worried now will I able to receive ITA if the draw happens today and cut off is below 416?
