at end of 2015, 60,042 candidates were in the pool.robinsonjoel said:Thanks @tiwalope and @maverick28 and @monavy! I was really disappointed. Not that I was expecting an ITA today, but that I believe CRS will be range bound from may till December in the range of 430-440 or even more. I am saying this observing 2016 CRS score. I know CRS can surprise, but for scores to drop below 420, it may be till 2018.
This is just my observation. I know it sounds hopeless, but I think it is a way of keeping CIC competitive. Any drop below 430 will be either that all candidates above have already received ITA or are a minority.
Been in the pool of candidates for the 2nd year. I have only lost scores, not increased it
My advice for those waiting for an ITA, look at increasing your scores some changes are coming in June, high chances that CRS score may go up. But I wish I am wrong
today, (after 15 months), total active candidates in the pool = 49061.
Even with high scores of last year, a net deductions of 11K. taking this into account and the fact that the draw size has doubled, what is the conclusion? that the candidates in the EE pool are not enough to exhaust the quota and that the scores will only have to drop.
