Hi everyone.

My score dropped from 446 to 445 now in a day. Now my EE profile shows 445. I am wondering why this happened. Also when I checked the CRS calculator, it shows 446 with spouse study points as 9 but in EE profile it shows 445 with spouse study points as 8.

Can anyone tell me why it's like that.

Thanks

Couple of points on OINP and EE. I think, timing is something key and that is what I wrote earlier. My senses says that 02/22 draw will have the cutoff of 440.

OINP will call all the qualified applicants in 420-439 range in the first phase. As the scores are dropping, those who gets the direct ITA and does not apply to OINP with in 45 days, they will drop the range for the next PT Invite. This sequence will go on. There may be a case, where some may have to pay and dont use the OINP as they directly got the ITA from EE. But, there would not be those cases.

We all will be keeping our documents ready. Now with this online application system, we will have chance till last week (obviously dont wait for the last day) to upload the document and make a payment.

For example - I am at 434. All documents are ready. If, I get the PT in the coming week, then I will have 45 days timeframe (till April 10) to submit the application. I will wait for the direct ITA draw till 04/05 and if not received then will apply OINP for sure.

Your thoughts????

Sounds like a sensible plan, pawshi. I'll probably do the same if ever i got into that situation. $1500 is not a small amount of money haha. And is it guaranteed, is there info on success rates for oinp application?

You must have cut-off score or higher at the time of ITA.

Don't mislead people idiot.

I don't think it's nice calling people idiot. Be mindful of what you're saying here. I was not suggesting ANYTHING! Even you know things better, doesn't make other people idiots. And as what you stated in your signature, you're not an expert. I don't think you have any right calling any one idiot! Thanks.

This has happened with so many people in the pool. Nobody has any clue on this, one point lost due to spouse education. Thot this wud be rectified in last system maintenance but was not done

This would be a sensible option. Need to use the time u have and act accordingly. Also as u said cant risk losing a PT from ONIP

Thanks a lot for the reply. I hope it gets fixed.

Why the thread is so quite? I think very few people in 440 range.

With only 3 days apart the next draw, this thread should be on top. Come on people show excitement, we r the lucky one, about to witness yet another historic draw and drop in CSR cutt-off :)

Am at 443..confused to take OINP or not? What if next draw is at 444, then should we wait for another draw or go for pnp? Please advise
