also, i am waiting for some extra points for those having canadian siblings (as announced by cic as a future proposal) as i am a canadian PR

The decision to give extra points in CRS for having siblings with Canadian PR or Citizenship will be made by March this year and could be implements later in the year as per the CIC's report. If they decide against it, i guess it will be a bummer for me as well as i have a sister with Canadian PR. Lets hope for the best :)

“The government has added, however, that it is looking to make further changes in 2017. These changes may include additional points for candidates with siblings in Canada or for French-speaking candidates, and it is not possible to tell if or when these changes may occur or how the distribution of points under the system may be affected.

That is possible. Well anything is possible although realistically, there are lots of people who got their PNPs and some provinces are opening their respective programs. I think this might have an effect of the CRS cutoff score for the next draws because some people who have low scores might increase their scores because of nomination but again this is just an opinion.
When do you think the pnps will be issued within how many months?

Guys when will pnps be issued as they will affect the cut off draws?

I have no idea. What I heard is that Saskatchewan PNP is a very slow process. The AIPP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program) recently opened for the provinces of NL,NB,NS and PEI. However, they will only give 2000 nominations for 2017. They will be starting the info sessions in March and April but it is just an info session. They will be coming to the Philippines in April with employers to interview prospective candidates who might be given a job offer. After that, they can apply for PNP. But no idea how long will it take for them to process the paperwork. I think BC also gave 457 PNs.

I thought the atlantic program is an independent one... do the candidates apply for express entry after earning a nomination from the Atlantic program ?

interesting way to describe the refugees... i'm sure the meaning of intellectual class got a whole new meaning with you using that word lol....

i hope you get your ITA soon, and i hope you change your attitude also... that sort of attitude isnt going to get you very far in canada...

just remember this card goes both ways... you can enter canada and all the naturalised canadians + CEC candidates will say "we have been in Canada for years and we know and understand the country and culture and we have been paying taxes blah blah.... we should get picked ahead of immigrants :) "

good luck

+1

A tip that worked for me is to read the questions and the answers before the recording starts, that way you will have an idea what the recording is about and make it easier to answer, but you have to be quick. They usually give time to review each section before the recording starts. Good luck!

I try doing this, however, the answers are somehow similar to each other so i get confused in the end
