More cons than pro's. Long waiting in Spousal sponsorship. They could refuse your single application if you dont have a valid reason why are u applying alone (if not divorce or something serious).. you are not the first who is doing this for points, CIC knows that.. they are strict about it.. I would advise to you to put your wife and go with 435. You should get ITA or go through OINP in 2017.eamrshh said:Hi
My score is 441 and my wife is not secondary applicant since it was reducing my score by 6 points. I heard that if I get PR,I can later apply for spousal PR for my wife.Meanwhile she can be issued Open WP to work here.
Can anyone Please suggest what's the pros/cons of applying individually.

Now it will be really interesting to see how OINP and EE operate together. Lets hope all what is happening is in our favour.
Will we be seeing oinps impact on draws by may or june or probably earlier?astralsource said:iTS 6000
Adding to astralsource response; As per my understanding, Even if you go with valid reason for applying PR alone (Not bringing your spouse to Canada), once you get your PR, you can apply only Visitor visa for your wife. Then she can stay here for 6 months as a visitor, cannot work and cannot get any benefits (Health, etc). After 6 months, she has to leave Canada. Meanwhile you have to apply PR for your wife, takes very long time to get Spousal sponsorship.eamrshh said:Hi

Everyone who gets PT has 45 days to apply.. Lets say the PT's start applying in March/April (even this is too optimistic since we dont know when are the first PT's going to arrive and in what numbers). I'd also say it may affect draws earliest around May since online application is introduced to reduce processing time.. we'll have to see but I doubt they will start issuing points before May.sutyfornow said:Will we be seeing oinps impact on draws by may or june or probably earlier?
