Once your PNP is approved aka you're nominated you then get 600 points. Not before thatsutyfornow said:I dont understand the pnps.. do they take 3 months to be issued ? Or once u received an invitation u take 600 points
Are you in OINP or other Province?blackbeast said:We should also consider PNP applicants who got the nomination after 8th feb draw, someone like me. I dont have any idea on how many nominations were rolled out but i guess that would still add up to the total ITA count.
Then why did i read somewhere here that it takes 3 to 4 months to be issued?Rajveer said:Once your PNP is approved aka you're nominated you then get 600 points. Not before that
It takes months for the PNP to process the paperwork. Some of the Provincial nominations take even a year based on my friends and people I've met. I have read OINP Human Capital, it takes at least 3 months to process and get nomination and of course, some might take longer and some might not successfully get the nomination.sutyfornow said:Then why did i read somewhere here that it takes 3 to 4 months to be issued?
There is no reason for cic to hold scores at 445. The logic behind changes done in november is to bring down the scores and give opportunity to people who have core human capital scores. The score might go below 420 in another 5-6 months.blackbeast said:yes, i got a nomination from Ontario province. It does take time to process the state nomination applications. Leaving aside the waiting time to pick your application, they took solid 6 months of time to issue nomination.
I see many people from my similar timeline getting nominations. I am not sure about the number but i guess this is also a factor we should consider in predicting a score.
I may be pessimistic in my predictions, but i guess cic would not like to go beyong 445! (just my prediction!) since i saw something similar like this happen last year.
For ontario the threshold is 400. Lets say if u have 400 plus points, they would send u a invitation and if u accept it ul get 600 points added to ur cic accountsutyfornow said:I dont understand the pnps.. do they take 3 months to be issued ? Or once u received an invitation u take 600 points
I second to that! High five!jackdawn said:There is no reason for cic to hold scores at 445. The logic behind changes done in november is to bring down the scores and give opportunity to people who have core human capital scores. The score might go below 420 in another 5-6 months.
This draw would be 440 or below with around 3k ITA

Even i am also at 441 only, and very sure that even if the next draw is for 442/+, the first draw in march is definitely going to be the one <440!!
Incidentally, I am also checking for any and all documents I might require and had a question- when are we required to submit the PCC and Medical? is it when we get invite and submitting the documents or it is required at a later stage?
From the reports released last year, there were 13,000 people in the pool between 400 - 449.jackdawn said:There is no reason for cic to hold scores at 445.
