+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
Congrats to all of them who got ITA after all those changes people were saying that scores will remain above 500 for few draws and it will take 3-4 months to come down to 470s. And now after only 2nd draw after changes the score has come to 470s. So again those predictions failed which were like there will 10K people above 480 amd everyone would have got 15-30 which means CRS wont drop to 470s.

Now one interesting in this draw lots of students who were on 445 or 460 before 19th nov would have got ITAs. And lots of people with improved scores and fully fswp which dont have any connection with canada were also included in 2800+ ITAs. So it clearly shows that there were not to many students on 445. It means that 380-400 is the score where majority of students were and now they will be on 400-420.

Feeling sad, missed by 1 point.

I can imagine - I missed by 4 :(
but, this is a good sign for things to come so... :)

So, Fatani, do you think the govt will bring Scores down to that 400-420 level to keep the international student industry thriving?

Isn't it enough that international students are getting bonus points?

Now we want every brain dead international student with just a diploma, low English scores, coffee selling / burger flipping experience to get ITA?

Congrats Kryt0n!
We are no strangers to weird bits of an application to explain! I don't think we'll ever shake the unsettling feeling until we are the other side of security at Calgary airport, with friends waiting to pick us up!

Sitting at 467. I have a question...
Should we get an ITA before the end of January, will we have to get another IELTS test considering my husbands expires in February and mine in March, if we get the application in before those dates? Already booked one for February 11th cause forward planning. Super scared mine will go down (not that it matters a huuuuuge amount as my husband is principle). Scores last time were:
R: 9
S: 9
W: 8.5
L: 9

I'm fairly new to the forum, but my understanding is that even post ITA IELTS scores still need to be valid (not expired) until you get an AOR.
If you need to retake IELTS and your IELTS score drops, you are fine so long as 1) you still meet the minimum language requirements of your stream, and 2) your overall CRS score is still at or above the cut-off for the specific round in which you received your ITA.
*seniors please correct me if I am wrong*

Having said all that, your stellar IELTS scores are making the rest of us look bad so please stop bragging :P

Absolutely right fatani. As Castillo says there were many prophets of doom who r quite now.

My Prediction For 51st draw :

464 with 2150 ITA's

8) 8)

Don't mind if you don't see your score in that prediction . After all its a prediction ;) ;)
